How can time pass so fast??

(It was dry yesterday for a change but with plenty of humidity.)

Good morning, friends....I feel like a kid on Christmas morning.....I awoke to find, of all thing, the sun was shining bright....i am just about to head out there and do some yardwork....

we hit the 100 day mark to the season...i'm really excited about opening the season up with all of you....should be really fun! Have a relaxing, recharging Sunday and I shall see all of you later!

question....what is worse than a cold in winter......yup....a cold in summer....Kandice was started sneezing...now she´s coughing...and I´m sneezing too....very, very annoying...but oh well....it will go over.

Well not much going on today. The plan was to watch the nascar race this afternoon but it is raining there and it doesn't look like they will get it in today. So now I am just surfing the internet for some new recipes to try. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!

Other than a slight headache, I am doing great. Church service was good this morning. Getting windy, but the sun has come out again. I have nothing I have to do the rest of the day, so I will just hang out here and work on those stockings.

The episode of Doctor Who from last Christmas Day was shown on TV last night. Even though the episode itself wasn't exactly full of festive cheer, it took me back to Dec 25th 08. Sigh. It's August now. Another month and I can officially have an excuse to be wintery.

It slightly concerns me that my nine year old cousin has far less Christmas spirit than me at any time of year. Surely me being ten years older ought to make me ten years more mature, not the more excitable one? ~Sigh~

do You guys know what I really, really love about Winter aside that it´s the season that has Christmas.....

In Winter there are not stupid punkies (or no-see-ums or midgies...however You wanna call them) that bite You like crazy and then those bites itch like crazy.....Kandice and I are full of those stupid fly bites.....and I keep telling her not to scratch....while I´m sitting there, trying to hide that I´m scratching myself....ooooooooooh....please....let it be october soon so they are gone

I hate those. We have not had much of a bug problem so far this summer, only because it had been too cool for them too.

We don't have too many bugs here. I think the sun melts them. Although we did find a 4 inch scorpion in the back yard a few weeks ago....:-?

Didn't do too much today. I played my Sims for a while today, ordered a chicken salad and did about a gazillion loads of laundry! Now I'm getting ready to go to bed, gotta work tonight at midnight! Good night everyone!!!

As I move away from coaching, I find myself wondering alot about how much I am going to miss it. Baseball....I will probably weep everyday when baseball season rolls around. I really liked fotball, but it wasn't my favorite thing to do. Tomorrow, football starts. Today, they worked to get ready. Friday Nights....I will miss....working on weekends and not getting home until 7:30 or 8:00 during the week I will not miss. I hated...HATED....working on Sundays! I am so glad I wasn't there today!

As for today....the Wifey and I laid around and she studied for finals while I took a nap....and then watched tv....while she continued to study....and then like a good husband, I washed clothes and cooked supper while she continued to study....and then I took a nap! Then, I injected a pot of coffee into the system and now it's 10:30 and I'm wide awake!!!
