Good afternoon, everyone!

Due to a 6:30 AM practice, I was awake quite early this morning. I think I may need a nap in a couple hours. It's not a very nice day here in Ottawa today. Overcast with a high of 61. We're supposed to reach the mid-60s this weekend with sunny skies. Total fall weather!

I am heading to Rochester, NY for a tournament this weekend, so I am quite excited. The forecast for there is absolutely beautiful. No wind, sunny skies and highs into the low 70s. Hooray! It should be a perfect weekend. Have fun counting down until then. We should be nearing the half-century mark to the Christmas Season by the time I return.

Have a fantastic final weekend before the beginning of Fall, everyone. See you on Monday!!

I'm getting more and more excited by the minute! hahaha

I'm getting my hair cut this evening. I'm looking forward to that.
Tomorrow - who knows what that will hold.
Then on Sunday, we have a guest minister at church. His name is Kenneth Hagin.

Hey Guys...just getting home from the local high school football game and we won! First win this year so it was good for the kids! I think they are as happy about winning as I about it being Friday.

This has been a good week....hit a milestone...things good at work...it's been good...can't wait to spend some time on here in the morning reading and drinking coffee....

Good Morning Everyone!

It's nice and chilly outside with a good breeze going and plenty of sunshine. Perfect! We are takinng the kids to the local high school tonight for they are hosting a battle of the bands. Looks like we will have to dress warmly.

I can not believe how fast the time is flying by. We are bringing down the hallowoon/fall lights tomorrow to test them and get the ready so we can start decorating the outside this week. I may start decorating the inside of the house today.

Good morning! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! This week is my last week off for maternity leave... I cant believe it has been almost 6 weeks already! I will be posting more often from work when I have a free hand cheesy. Happy Fall..the weather here has been very nice. A little chilly in the morning..just the way I like it.

Well it is already 2 o'clock and it seems like I just got up even though I got up a 7 am. My sister called this morning and said she had a migraine and asked if I would babysit my oldest niece. So I went and picked her up and then we went to the store. She took we through the toy section and showed me everything she wanted for christmas. That was basically everything on the shelves. The rest of the day will be spent reading, coloring, and if I am lucky I might sneak in a little football. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The weather is finally starting to turn cold for good and that is a sign that Christmas is coming!!!

We normally start getting snow mid October and I cannot wait!!!

Just got through making Christmas cookies with my god-daughter and neice. I must say they r very good. We made chocolate chip and walnut cookies in the shape of santa and snowmen. We're having so much fun! :smile:

evening all!

i'm starting to think about all the things i want to do in the run up to christmas now, there is so much i want to fit in. i also want something christmassy to do inbetween christmas day and new year. i can't stand the way alot of people go out of christmas mode as soon as it hits midnight on the 25th. i would love to find a christmas market/fair that is still up and running after christmas eve or i might go and see a christmas show on the 28th/29th december.
