I went into the big home improvement store (Rapid DIY) in Liverpool and was delighted to see the ground floor is now the Christmas shop! It's like a wonderland in there, thousands of flashing lights, sparkly reindeer and huge trees.

They also have a 6' polar bear in the window which dances, it's £500!!
Wow, that's one expensive bear!

Welcome to the forums by the way! cheesy

I found my Christmas Notebook, after 5 days of Panic! This happened not to long ago and I had to relace the notebook,so guess what while I was looking for the newer one I found the old one! Jeez,It's like that scene in grease where she found the papers from lastyears school Schedule..lol
We're gonna roast some Marshmallows tonight in the pit out back with some Neighbors.Hope ya day is well!

Hey all! Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday. I was at the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival all day with my brother and sister. It was Celtic day today so there were lots of drummers and bag pipers around. My sister liked one bagpipe group so much she bought their CD (personally, I think she liked the bagpiper more than the bagpipe songs!!).

Now I'm winding down at the end of the day with a cup of hot chocolate and some Christmas music. I'm feeling so festive tonight.

That's pretty much how my night has been spent cheesy

I watched Home Alone followed by The Santa Clause, now i'm listening to the radio from this site with a cup of hot cocoa.

it's 4:30 in the morning, i'm suffering really bad insomnia lately but at least the Christmas films are keeping me happy through the night

Oh man insomnia. Try drinking some chamomile tea before going to sleep that might do the trick.

GGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDD Morning!

Well, I lost Saturday....if anyone finds it would you get it back to me before tomorrow so i don't have to go to work! This week, we see Sept. end and October arrive....last month, we passed some milestones and next Month there will be more....Sept. is the month that lets me know Christmas is coming, but October is the month where I really start to feel it...and that's right about two weeks before Halloween....when we start doing those things together as a family....like carving Pumpkins and having scary movie nights....which will be scary movies in October but the night after Halloween, it will be the annual Christmas opener.....Christmas Vacation....isn't this just a great time of year!

Beautiful weather out today...high is 72 and I've got some yardwork to do....should take too long, but then it's in to watch the football games and Nascar (I hope we get a win today Made)!

Enjoy your Sunday!

.....Oh, how I wish we could experience a "true fall" like I remember from my growing up in North Carolina.....
We do have nice falls here, but sometimes it seems as if cold weather follows too closely on the heels of the heat. Wish we could have moderate temps longer than just a few weeks.

Good Morning, Fellow Christmas Anticipators!

Half-way through the weekend, and the count is declining nicely.
Let's check:
Days to the Season: 47
Days to Christmas Day: 89
Only 10 days until the 90% Home Stretch Season mark. And we will be down to single digits tomorrow.
Incredible!

One last rainy day is predicted, then tomorrow will see a return to sunny skies.
We currently stand at 67 degrees here in Raleigh.

Have a Super Sunday, Folks.
Keep the Spirit of the Season with you today and always!

Oh! And stay tuned!
Either this evening or tomorrow morning - the launch of "Christmas Blossoms 2009".
Be there or be square!
