A good Thursday morning to everyone!

As always today ends my work week, which is exciting. The fact that Thanksgiving weekend will be upon me after about 4:30 PM today is even more thrilling! The temperature is currently 48F. It is supposed to be calm and sunny all day today - a total contrast of yesterday - with highs in the mid to upper 50s. In other words, a perfect Fall day.

Glad we can all begin the homestretch in good spirits. I'm excited to see those Christmas cooking magazines on the shelf. Maybe I will actually pick one up this year so that Kim and I can bake something new together. I think that may be a fun time. Strangely enough, I was talking to my mom last night and she said that Zellers (similar to K-Mart) does not yet have any Christmas stuff on display. She seeemed a little disappointed to have to go to work every day and not yet see it. She definitely sounds excited that it's coming up though! They will probably bust it out after Thanksgiving!

In other news, my dad turns 55 on Saturday! Wow... He's in fantastic shape for his age and certainly doesn't look a day over 50. I will have to give him a Happy Birthday phone call from Kim's mom's house. I've rambled too long.. Back to work I go!

Have a great day, everyone!

Good morning all..... Well the Christmas Season Bug has offically bitten me yesterday. I stood in line at Toys R US for 45 minutes before they opened yetserday to get a zhu zhu pet that my daughter wants. Well they only had 8 and limited it to 1 per person. I was 5th in line so I was able to get the one that she actually wants plus an accessory for it.
Then last night my hubby and I went shopping at walmart and found their Christmas Eve PJs. Now all I want to do is pop in White Christmas and start wrapping but I can't. Have to wait at least another month before I can start wrapping but maybe I'll watch White Christmas this weekend!

Have a great day everyone.

cheesy
I'll give it a go this time since I have never had the honor before.
Thanks, Christmasstar! You won't be sorry.
Fame! Fortune! Power!
(Well, actually none of those, but it's fun)

Good luck finding the time during your Thanksgiving festivities!
On Saturday Thanksgiving dinner is not until 5pm and since I only have to cook a couple of items, not hard at all. The family dinner is on Monday and that too is pot luck, so again, not much on my end to cook.
Besides, I get up early anyway.
This place is just to hard to stay away from!!!

Here I am posting on MMC listening to Christmas music, and my dog will not allow me stop petting her. So now I am typing with one hand. lol

Well then, it works out perfectly! Plenty of time for everything. A pot luck sounds delicious... but then again, so does everything else that revolves around Thanksgiving dinner.

Happy birthday to your dad! cheesy

Im jealous of you lucky folks who get to celebrate Thanksgiving this weekend. I wish it was Thanksgiving in the US this week! I can taste the turkey and stuffing already cheesy!

We do the Christmas Eve pj's, too! Our kids would be very dissappointed if they didn't get those pj's.

We only started doing the Christmas Eve PJs last year but the kids loved getting to wear new PJs to bed for Christmas so a new tradition was born!

Hello Everybody! a dark, cool day here.the leaves are giving us a Beautiful show here!I of course have the sniffles and an ear infection, that goes into my jaw..oh happy day.where's the advil..lol. I hoe ya's have a great evening!

Minta,I know the feeling. My girl wants those Zhu Zhu pets.and I shoulda bought them months ago when she asked. My MIL,was lucky to get her 3 hampsters and the ball.
They have beds for them too! in 3 colors of course she wants those to.great..lol:)

I'm very upset I haven't been able to enjoy fall yet. I've been traveling and really busy. We had our first snow in the mountains this past weekend, so I doubt there is any color left for me to photograph.

On the flip side, we did have our first fire in the fireplace and that did get us openly musing about putting up the tree....

Good evening! Happy Friday Eve! It's been a dreary ol day here! But I'm baking pumpkins in the oven now (to freeze) & the house smells "delightful!" (I stole that word from my niece! Lol) I was thinking about turning on the fireplace, but haven't done that yet. Hubby has to bowl tonight so I have a pretty quiet night planned & that's ok!! Hope you are all having a great day!!

Well, it worked out! I walked outside this morning and there he was. Wet, muddy, tail-between-his-legs, but he made it back! I guess he found a girlfriend nearby ;) He was so tired he didn't even want to play, just went to sleep.

Thanks all, for your good wishes! cheesy

YAY!!!!

I can't wait for the turkey and stuffing! I missed out last year due to a concert and I know that it's going to be well worth the wait this year. I don't know if I would like two large dinners in back-to-back months but I do love the fact that US Thanksgiving is so close to Christmas. Of course, it's the perfect succession into the Christmas Season. Otherwise, we only have Halloween and then we're surrounded with Christmas everywhere! Well, you guys are too but we have nothing else to look forward to (with the exception of Remeberance/Veterans Day).

Ohh No the moonwalk deflated and Jay was it it doing a Paus Du Lux.. Maureeen help him- through a plaid line his way..

YABBA!
