Wow i am gone 24 hours and i have 492 posts to catch up on. I had to babysit my nieces this morning while my sister went to the doctor for a checkup. Then I went and did some christmas shopping. Now I am going to try to get caught up. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had a stressful afternoon. I found out that my best friend (she is a school teacher..26 years old with a 5 month old Daughter (my God Daughter) has the H1N1 flu..she started feeling sick on Monday and tested positive today. We were all together on Saturday night for Halloween. She was holding my 3 month old and playing with my 2 year old. Im praying that my Boys do not get this flu and also my God Daughter. I have made myself sick to my stomach just wondering if they are infected without symptoms yet? Please pray for my Boys and God Daughter. Im really wishing we were a week ahead from now so that I knew my Boys and God Daughter were safe and not going to get infected :-?

I hope everyone is okay and I will keep you all in my prayers.

Hopefully it will be fun weekend for our family. The Polar Express train ride starts up tomorrow in Bryson City (about 20 minutes from us). The town is already fully decorated for Christmas. The lights in Galinburg/Pigeon Forge go on this weekend. We plan to enjoy both and visit "The Incredible Christmas Place" as we celebrate my son's birthday. Can't wait...

:tree:
We took the kids on the Polar Express train excursion a couple years ago and loved it! I have a couple pictures of it in my profile.

WOO HOOO!!! 1 more week!!! :D

Just dropping in to say hello & good night! Hope you all had a great day!!

Yes. Sorry, I get very up tight when people consider anything south of North Bay "northern Ontario." Being a born and raised northern Ontario kid, I have to ensure such a tag stays with us elite and does not spread into the more southern parts of Ontario!
:point:

PARDON ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:snowball:

Good Evening! A beautiful day here today with temps. in the 60's. Hope you all had a wonderful day!cheesy

I have spent most of the evening watching the news coverage of the Fort Hood shootings. I can't imagine what could drive a person to do that. My neighors grandson was stationed there but shipped out to Iraq about a month ago. My prayers go out to all of those who were injured and to the families of those who were killed today.

Good night everyone

its awful made

morning all x

It's Friday! It's Friday! It's Friday!

I put up my Christmas clock (plays a different Christmas carol every hour) This morning at 6am it played Jingle bells, very appropriate considering the snow we got yesterday and over night.
:snowball:
We are putting up our out door lights this weekend. I got 5 new strands last year on sale so that will make things brighter! cheesy

Good Morning my fun loving Christmas friends....this time....many of us will be pulling ourselves out of bed after the massive party that will take place online here next Friday morning at 12 am....I'm so stoked it's crazy....CAN'T WAIT!

Hope this finds all doing really good! Last football game tonight...then some down time this weekend....alot of preperations will take place this weekend! Can't believe....can't believe we are under three weeks from Thanksgiving.....if anyone goes and sees the movie tonight....tell us how it goes...I'm going to see it regardless....but I'm just curious!

Good day to all!

That sounds unique and interesting, 'Star! Where did you get it?

Good Morning, my Friends!

And what better way to start our last day of the work week than realizing that we are down to ONE WEEK to our grand and glorious Christmas Season 2009!
Days to the Season: 7
Days to Christmas Day: 49.
And not only that, we are also down to 7 weeks to the big Day!
(What a way to start the weekend!)

Again chilly here in Raleigh where we stand at 41 degrees.
We reached 65 yesterday but are predicted to only get to the upper 50's today.
Could be down to freezing tonight, so the weather service says.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends!
And may your Weekend get off to a Wonderous Start this afternoon.

OK, our resident bean counter has requested I again publish the pre-Season special post schedule.
Since we all know that those who drink coffee to excess can become forgetful, I shall comply:

November 8 = Minta
November 9 = Binger
November 10 = Crown
November 11 = Christmastar
November 12 = Seawaters
November 13 = THE SEASON ARRIVES!

(As you can see, our special post series begins in just 2 days!!)

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

Have I said lately how much I dislike the end of daylight savings time? I can't even stay awake long enough to watch the end of America's Funniest Home Videos. That's my favorite show! cheesy

Not much happening today. I went on my morning walk at 6:30, and later setup to city's (I'm a councilman, so it's ok) speed radar trailer. You can park it beside the road, and it tells motorists what the speed limit is and how fast they are going. It doesn't keep any records, and we don't have a police force in our little town. But it does let people know if they are unknowingly speeding. It really helps!

Anyway, I hope you all have a great day!

Last football game tonight...

Good Luck on the game tonight!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure you would be a proud principal if they could end with a win. cheesy

Good morning, everyone!!

It's Friday. A week away from the Season and the premier of A Christmas Carol. I've invited a few friends along to the show, but we will see if it amounts. There are six of us (three couples) going to Red Lobster for Endless Shrimp prior to the show. We shall see if any of them are interesting in joining Kim and I for an iMAX adventure. I am excited!

It's quite cold here this morning. 0C (32F) and -6 (21F) with the windchill. Considering I do not yet have a winter coat, today will not be entirely enjoyable. I have a few errands to run (bank and possibly look for more Christmas lights and decorations) and then I am heading to the gym again. Need to get back in shape after two entire weeks off.

Well, I hope that everyone enjoys their Friday. I'm glad I have them off, but I know that I will need to buckle down and get plenty of essays and assignments done next weekend to meet deadlines. Have a fantastic day, everyone!!!

Did your snow stay on the ground into the morning? Ours has already evaporated, but I have seen pictures on theweathernetwork.com.
