Thanks! Yes, I believe he's on the road to recovery. He is mad at me for keeping him closed up in the beautiful weather...obviously mad. That's a good sign! cheesy I have to take him to the vet for another followup in 30 minutes.
I'm taking the afternoon off to see about Ben, then I have to pickup the kids at school. Today is Elizabeth's 9th birthday. I went to the school and had lunch with her today, and she's having a slumber party tonight and a big party tomorrow. There'll be little girls all over the place! My son and I are concerned we'll be relegated to the little tv in the bedroom this evening. cheesy

Wow friends....another week down...this is one of my favorite weekends of the year....tomorrow the wife and I will spend the day shopping for Thanksgiving and looking for Christmas.....right now she's cooking me a wonderful supper and we are looking at Black Friday ads together....she wants a new computer for Christmas....think I will get myself a new laptop and give her this one.....is that a good idea?? We will be gone most of the day tomorrow and we usually have soooo much fun! Gonna be great....aren't we all blessed to have this wonderful energy in us....I've heard people mumble and grumble bout all the work to do...you know...happiness is a choice and we choose it....i will gladly do all this cooking to be able to sit and break bread with my family....that's what it's all about....

Good morning everyone.....sitting here enjoying my coffee and a slice of banna bread that I baked last night. Really into the Christmas spirit today. A local radio station started playing Christmas music 24/7 the other day so that has been great listening to. Did some Christmas shopping and wrapping yesterday and lastnight we bought a new 7 1/2 ft tree for the living room and new stockings for everyone.
Tonight we are going to see TSO........So cannot wait!!!!!
Ummm thinking about making some biscottis tomorrow. cheesy

Are we that far into the Season, already?
Can we be this close to Thanksgiving??
Days to Christmas Day: 34 (Under 5 weeks, now!)
Days to Thanksgiving Day: 5 (I can already hear the gobbling)
Slightly overcast here in Raleigh at this hour, as I eagerly await the start of the 65th annual Raleigh Christmas Parade.
Also, the Raleigh Christmas show at the convention center is in progress downtown as well.
(Things holiday are really starting to hop around here!)
Continuing to listen to my extensive Christmas music collection.
Have just about finished my Ray Coniff album with Percy Faith still to look forward to.
Have a Stupendous Saturday, Friends.
Don't forget to do something Christmas today (as if you could forget!)

Well said......we did the bulk of our shopping yesterday and will get the rest of the stuff Wed morning. I enjoy cooking especailly on Thanksgiving day! We will have a house full so that will be even better.

I am busy baking the pieces for the gingerbread house I am making for a contest.
The theme this year is "Santa's Workshop". I then must come up with a sub theme and have decided make mine " Christmas Countdown". That is because it is so much fun to come here and be a part of this every day!
Almost down to only a month before the big day!! So much to do and so much fun doing it!!

More light are going up today. We're going to run the extension cords today also. Tomorrow our neighbor is going to help us with our tree. Next week will be a great week!
