Today is going to be a day of rest and relaxation. I am getting ready to make some peanut butter cookies and then I am going to sit back and watch some football. I have bags sitting everywhere around the apartment with gifts waiting to be wrapped so I might do some wrapping while watching the games. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i've done lots of cleaning today to prepare the house for my decorations and tree which will be going up next week, very excited!

tomorrow i am doing some shopping with my OH and our baby daughter (how much of a nightmare is it trying to push a pram around the shops :-?) i am sure i will find the time to pop into starbucks for a gingerbread latte and a slice of yule log!

Always time to pop in for a coffee!! Enjoy the your shopping trip, Johnor!!!!

Hello fellow Christmas Lovers - I hope this finds you having a great weekend!!!!!!!!!

I did some shopping yesterday - the lines were short at Target and they still had lots of stuff from their two day sale - although I did grab the last copy of "Ghosts of Christmas Past". cheesy
I managed to pick up the one gift that I absolutely had to buy, too!

I did some browsing in the Christmas decorations aisles at several stores and I don't know if it's just me, but this year's crop of ornaments aren't all that great. They seem to really have cut corners when ordering their stock this year. Very disappointing!!!

Have a great day!!!

Wow guys....i'm shocked to not see anyone on here since noon today and it's almost 10....where is everybody?

i know where i am about to go...BED! sorry binger!

have a good night!

Mornin'!
Hope Everyone's well.A few errands to run today.Have a great day.

Good morning, everyone!!

I'm posting a little early today. My apologies for not posting yesterday. I've been so overwhelmed with this essay. A few classes today, but a long break (almost five hours) between. This will allow me to continue contributing toward the essay. Hopefully I will be about 80 percent done after today. 1300 words now. I need to get up to at least 2400 by the end of the day.

Apparently it's snowing here. I can't see it from my window, but I will go outside and see in a few minutes. Star is right though... One more day in November. It's hard to believe that those delicious chocolate calendars will be broken out again tomorrow. I can't wait to get home to start mine!!

I hope everyone in the US enjoyed their Thanksgiving weekend. It seems like you all had a great time and are anxious to get back to work... OK, maybe the working part is not true. But, at least there are barely over three more working weeks until the big day! Enjoy the Season and everything that comes along with it. We're heading down the homestretch to Christmas!!

CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY # 18

Good Morning, Guys!

Warmer here today with lots of sun and we stand at 54 degrees.
However, rain is predicted for this afternoon and Wednesday with a dry Tuesday in between.
Colder weather predicted for late week and it should be "seasonal" when we get our Christmas Tree on Saturday.
Can't wait to get the place all decorated!

Our count continues to move:
Days to Christmas Day: 25 (Hey! That's barely over 3 1/2 weeks. So close!)

Well, I think I'll do a little more camera roving later today in hopes of capturing some more Christmas scenes.
For instance, I HAVE get a photo of the Big Guy at Crabtree, and Brooks Brothers has a fantastic storefront window display I simply must have.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone!

Back to school today. I only have 2 weeks of classes then the third week is finals. It's finally starting to feel like Christmas. It's getting cold and it may snow on Thursday!

Good morning everyone!!! Hope everyone had an awesome thanksgiving and weekend. It's been a few days since I have been on here. Have been very busy between hosting Thanksgiving, shopping Friday and then spent the weekend decorating inside and out. We are about 90% done decorating. Even manage to sneak in some time wrapping gifts. The coffee pot got in a major work out these past few days!!! Starting to run low on coffee, gotta pick up some this week. Thankfully it's on sale this week so I can stock back up again.
Off to read the posts from the past few days.......

Have a great day!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

My mother has a friend who raises yorkshire terriers and takes them to dog shows. She invited our daughter to go to a show with her. I tagged along yesterday afternoon to Savannah. It was interesting to see all those different breeds of dogs in one place. There were many fancy little dogs and HUGE bull mastiffs. Miss Kay's daughter was showing her irish wofhound (and won!). That dog is almost 4'-0" tall, and as gentle as a baby rabbit. I had a great time!

I still need to finish my outside decorations. Hopefully I can get back to it today. My next door neighbor has signed up to be on the Christmas Tour of Homes. I'm sure he wants me to rake my yard and finish my decoration soon. I'll try to oblige, if I can.

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Good Luck with your essay Brent!!!!!!!!

Well I am trying to get back on schedule today. The last week has been hetic and now I need to get back in my routine. The apartment is a mess so I will work on cleaning it today and get some laundry today. I am also going to try to finish wrapping my gifts and put up my spiral trees outside. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning all! Just wanted to stop in and say hello! Hope this finds all enjoying their Monday as much as possible!

Hello everyone! I'm just back from visiting family and it's nice to be home again. I put some candy canes I bought while away on the tree, advent calendars are out for me and my husband (yup, still get advent calanders, who doesn't love to start the day with chocolate??!) and am so excited that tomorrow is December 1st! Time really has flown by so I'm going to make sure that I savour all of December so it doesn't pass by as quickly as November has!

Merry Christmas from London, everyone!

Getting really wintery-cold here but no snow as of yet. Doesn't mean I'm not planning on staying up watching a Christmas film or two tonight with some tea and mince pies :)

How is the Starbucks yule log? Never tried them!

I'm here, tired but happy.

Thanksgiving was good, even if we didn't have turkey! We had breakfast in DH's family & soup & sandwiches for dinner with my family. No stress!

Friday, Mom & I took DD & two nieces to Fantasy of Trees. Taking a six-year-old and two four-year-olds out in public isn't easy, people! I only threatened their lives a couple times a piece...Friday night I put out the nativity & Santa collection.

Saturday I put up the main tree with lights only. My sister had an open house, then mom & I went to a tour of homes & took DD to Old Fashioned Christmas in my hometown. I went with DD on a haywagon ride through town.

Sunday we went to church, had a nap, and got most of the ornaments on the main tree.

My house is a wreck because I was gone for days---tonight I'll try to put up the two small trees between doing loads of laundry!

I'm trying to soak up all of the Christmas I can without stressing over it and rushing it.
