Christmas Countdown - 2009

Hello my Christmas friends! It looks like everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. Mine was nice as well but pretty hectic with a 3 month old and 2 year old..and 2 places to go...but it was still great! My Hubby got all of our outside decorations up and we bought our real tree on Friday. It is up and decorated also. I will have to post some pics if I can figure out how to. I have a little more decorating to do, but not much. The rest of the house is a wreck though :-?.. I guess I cant expect to get too much done in 1 weekend with 2 young kiddies. I went out on Black Friday around 4:30 am and was home by 6:30 am... I bought a few things for my 2 year old son that I was looking for and got home quickly! Its back to work today..I cant believe tomorrow we are into December. Have a wonderful Monday night. It is rainy and chilly here..Im looking forward to picking up my boys from my Mom's and going home to relax.

I've been reading the posts and apparently everyone had a great Thanksgiving. And some interesting black friday tales. Our Thanksgiving was . . . .well not so good. We had a major oven malfuction that pretty much totaled "the bird". As for black friday, I don't think I'm going to try that again anytime soon. At least it's all done until next year.

I've been putting up lots of decorations, here and at Grandma Eagle's house, so I'm having lots of fun. We are still working out the plans for her 90th birthday party (in January).

Today is my Friday, I'm off tomorrow - MORE DECORATIONS. And I go on leave on the 10th of this month. I can hardly wait.

Hello Everybody!!! in about 40 mins it will be December 1st herecheesy!!!
hope everyones last day of november 09 was absolutly glorious!

yesterday i went about an hour out of town and almost finished my christmas shopping! just have my father & one of my best friends left to shop for...i am Exstatic!!(sp?)
the grinch was on tonight, i made my dad watch it with me hahahah!!
Oh and we finally decorated the outside of the house..i will try to take photos and post them in the lights & decorations section!cheesy

Good morning, everyone!!

Another quick post from me and then it is back to the library for seven or eight hours! It's currently snowing right now in Ottawa and it looks beautiful. I love seeing the white stuff flutter down from my 17th floor apartment. It really makes me realize that today is December 1st. I could not ask for a better 1st of December visual!

Happy December, everyone!! I must leave to work on my essays and assignments!

Good morning all.....our morning started off with some excitement.....Jingle and Belle, the kids magical elves made their apperance this morning. The kids found them peaking out from under the Christmas Tree and they brough a small gift for each of the kids that they got to open this morning. The kids were very excited!

Also found out last night that we will be adding another niece to the family come spring......Was kind of hoping for a nephew but another niece will be nice too. Looks like our little guy will be the only boy in our area as he will be surrounded by a sister and several female cousins. LOL! There are 2 male step cousins but they do not live near here. At least now I know what kind of little outfits I can start buying! LOL!

I'm relaxing at my desk with a cup of coffee, listening to the Casting Crowns latest Christmas CD. Wonderful!

About an hour after I got to work, my daughter called from school saying our beagle had gotten out of the yard and was at the school...in her classroom. (We live a couple blocks from the school) "What do I do?", she was asking. I told her to push him out the door and I would come to get him. When I got there, he was running around from child to child, playing and having a great time. I caught him and carried him home, much to his dismay.

Maybe that's all the excitement for today!
