It's still freezing cold here!! it's about -3 right now.. tonight i believe it said itd drop to -10:snowball:. I see many places are having stormy weather!! Please be careful & Stay Cozy!!!

I Finished my christmas shopping yesterday & i also finished wrapping all the gifts... I put a few under the christmas tree & it's driving my father absolutly insane....i'm suprised he hasn't tried shaking the boxes yetcheesy
sometimes I think he's worse than me and my sister!!
 
sleepy right now....so sleepy...but exited at the same time....the winter will finally come over here to Germany...it´s been way to warm the last two months...but now they said the Winter temps will be coming over....right for Christmas
 
Husband and I went to the Christmas market today, I brought my camera with me to take pictures but as I turned it on to take the first photo the battery died - d'oh! It was great though, the atmosphere was just perfect, we both got a mug of mulled wine while we looked at all the stalls and I picked us up some stollen, gingerbread iced cookies and some marzipan potatoes - yummmmm! :)

I have finally returned! I must apologize for my unannounced hiatus, but it has been a few busy days for me. I returned home safely on Saturday and then had an enjoyable day of visiting family and a few friends. Sunday, I went to Green Bay with my brother and dad. It was amazing to re-acquaint myself with the city. It's been two years since I have been there and the surreal feeling is still there. We did some Christmas shopping on Sunday and a bit of Monday and then attended the Packers victory over the Ravens on Monday Night Football.

We returned home yesterday afternoon and I have since been busy organizing a few things. I'm glad that I am now settled and will enjoy the rest of the countdown with all of you!! I hope you've enjoyed your times and all the Christmas decorations that are being set up everywhere!!! There was Christmas music everywhere in Green Bay and Appleton and now I cannot wait to experience the Christmas Season in Sault Ste. Marie.

Have a fantastic day, everyone!! I will leave you with a picture from where my dad and I sat at Lambeau. My brother was in the opposite end zone but only five rows up from the field.

Hey guys....checking in again late at night....kinda disappointed...things are going so quick...

I'm having to remind myself to begin to slow down and enjoy it before it's gone...sometimes I think we get caught up in all the other things that surround Christmas that we forget to focus on spending time with family, eating, watching tv or playing games with each other and just enjoying life....

hopefully I get everything done and will get to do that!

have a good day...ballgame duty tomorrow so I prolly won't be aroudn
 
O the weather outside is frightful,

but the fireplace channel is so delightful, and since I can go no where, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!

It's a snow day here! All the school buses cancelled, roads closed, very windy and snowing like crazy!!!

Good Morning...About 5 degrees out. Feels much cooler with the wind thou. 14 days to the big day...Wow hard to believe. I agree with Ballcoach...need to slow down and enjoy it all before it's to late. Still haven't even started my baking yet but my shoppings all done...I think. *L* I hope everyone has a nice day!

Christmasstar, how much snow have you gotten? No new snow here lately. What we did have has since blown away pretty much. cheesy

Yesterday it was wet snow and rain, then last night it went to -9 with a very strong wind. Started snowing around 6pm and had about 10cm overnight. So with that ice layer on the roads, then the snow on top of it + adding in the wind to blow it all around, makes for extremely bad roads. We are getting 10 to 20cm today yet of the fluffy white stuff. The temp is staying around -3 all day.
 
Oh goodness....your weather sounds about like ours. No new snow, but the winds and the wind chill make it almost unbearable. And the roads are also iced over due to the wind and drifting snow. Well keep warm and enjoy your day off. =)

Same here, Mystery Twin.
We hit 70 degrees for our high but had lots of wind, too. Plus a bit of rain early.
