I will be busy all day today having to do my regular pickups for school, then take a group an hour down the road, return, go to a safety meeting, do my regular school run and then go back and get them again then Bible study group tonight. cheesy

Hi all! I haven't been on much because we moved about 3 weeks ago... it's been quite a transition moving from the hustle and bustle of the city back to a peaceful suburban town after many years, but we are enjoying it and our son is loving being outside so much!

Hope everyone is doing well! I've missed my daily dose of Christmas spirit.

Good evening MMC-land, just the checking in for the night, just finished watching the Boston Bruins beat the Buffalo Sabres in double OT, great finish, so I am still pumped from the game. Hockey playoffs just cannot be touched by any other. Well my little guy seems to like his new room he actually slept in until 7:30 this morning, for him that is late, he fell out of his bed once but he was fine. We have been busy planning my older boy's 5th birthday party which is Sunday, what a stressful experience this has been, inviting kids that are not family for the first time and hoping most will come, and hoping the weather will turn out well also. His actual b-day was last week, and we got him his first bike which he LOVES. Good night MMC!

That is good to hear he slept in! I bought one of those bed rails to keep my kids from rolling off. They work really well. cheesy

Going to be on the boards for a while, then the wife and I plan on watching TAPS....she loves that show. By the way, I feel the need to clarify after my post this morning that my wife is a sweetheart, she just hates the morning.

I love TAPS!!!!!!!!!!!! I fell asleep watching it last night so I will watch it today on On Demand.cheesy

Good morning, everyone!!

It's a cloudy day in Ottawa. The wind was chilly this morning. So cold that I could see my breath!! Highs of about 10C (50F) are expected. I think it's about average for this time of year. I'm a little tired today, but work is only scheduled to be a half day so that I can get to work on my essay. Here's hoping I can complete about six more pages today. I want to be at 12-14 pages by tomorrow so that I can get to 18-20 as I head into the weekend. So close to finishing my undergrad!

I really want to stay and post more but I need to get my work done to ensure that I get out of here early to sit in the library and write! Well, have a great Thursday, everyone!! That count is really coming close to another milestone. So exciting!!

It is another beautiful day here. Rain is going to move in tomorrow though and stay around until tuesday. I think mom wants to run to the grocery store today and the craft store. I also plan on spending some time searching for some new christmas crafts online. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been listening to Christmas music today, while cleaning. I haven't had a chance to be on much...have been going to school for my degree. I can't wait until Christmas. Hey we're already almost 4 months into the year!:hello:

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's great to be back! I've been away at Space Camp in Huntsville, AL with my son's 6th grade class. The US Space & Rocket Center was AWESOME! We had a super time, except for trying to live in a dorm with a bunch of other people. I'm not a communal-living kinda guy, myself. But I survived, and Jacob loved it!

I followed the school bus on the way and it took us 9.5 hours! I don't know why he took the route he took, but it was WAY out of the way. I brought Jacob and a buddy of his home after it was over, and it took us 6.5 hours.

Coach & Made, Talladega is already getting crowded for the race this weekend! There were campers everywhere in the parking lot.

This April is not a good month for my family.....on Easter Saturday, my aunt died unexpectedly (she had cancer...but nobody knew...even she didn´t)....she got to the hospital Fridays and died less than a day later......today was her funeral....when my mother came she told me crying that her uncle has died as well.....these are tryin times

How did the turkey hunting go?

Thanks, Made! The turkey hunt didn't happen. Our guide, a cousin who has a lot of experience calling turkeys, caught the flu the day before we were supposed to go. I was going to take Jacob anyway, but I woke up that morning with a killer sore throat. So, we missed out last week. Maybe next week.
