Christmas Countdown - 2010

One of my favorite days of the year and I usually don't buy much on that day, I just love the crowds and Christmas events!
Good evening all!
It was long night at work tonight, only to come home and watch the Bruins lose, and see the Pens had lost. So now I have to wait until Friday before the next Bruins game.
On my way into work this afternoon, I got stuck in a little traffic jam. The traffic started to move and there was an accident someone rear-ended another car. I drove by the accident to see a young mother sitting in the backseat of the car that was hit, crying at an infant car seat, the police were there and there was no ambulance, I hope that was a good sign, but to see that really shook me up. I hope everything was alright, I did not see anything in the news about it. So if you can keep those people in your thoughts and prayers, I am sure they would appreciate it.

good morning my beloved christmas friends....its a good morning here...i feel healthy again....and the best...it´s a national holiday over her ein germany.....tonight our national soccer team has a friendly game to gear up for the world championships....we are going to barbecue chicken...and i spend my day with my family....doesn´t get better
and did u guys notice?.......I finally made it to come here more often and not spend the entire online time over at facebook....

the sun is up and so am I. Have to enjoy it as there are storms on the way, possibly a bit of thunder and lightening thrown in.
Working hard on 2 cakes for a big retirement / birthday party on Saturday.
Montreal won 5-2 and get to move on to next level!! (some of their fans however will all be standing in a corner no where near a TV or radio for the next game as punishment for their embarrassing behaviour)

Morning friends....going to be a short day at work, but still a long day. Have to spend 1/2 days at work and then go to a meeting 4 hours away. I will probably be there for three work days, but my wife is getting to go with me so I'm happy. Now if I could just take my dogs.....

Especially when someone is vacuuming up coffee beans - the rattling can drive you crazy.
(Then when Bing starts to tear open the bag to get at the beans, releasing all the dust into the air, the sneezing can really keep you up!)

Well, we finally get some sun to start the day with.
Nice and calm outside where we already stand at 71 degrees, bound for the low to mid 80's by this afternoon.
It is supposed to get into the 90's tomorrow before cooling off again.
Our downhill-slope-to-the-weekend count:

Days to Christmas Day: 226
May 15 looms so close. That's the half way Milestone to the Season, you know! Only TWO days away now!

Same here. It is going to be the warmest day of the year so far but severe t-storms are supposed to move in later today.:-?
I was very upset about the Bruins loss as well... Due to my immense hatred for the Habs, the Pens loss also hurt.

Me too!! Each year I wish I was in the U.S. to take in the experience. I've only experienced it twice. Once in Green Bay and Appleton, Wisconsin. What a rush that was!! It took forever for my dad and I to talk through the Fox River Mall!

Well it is going to be a beautiful morning and a stormy rest of the day. I am going to go get my haircut this morning and then maybe stop by a few garage sales to see if I can find any christmas stuff. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today could be my last day at my part-time job! I have not yet been told whether they will need me next week or not. However, my contract is up today. We shall see. I need full-time work anyway... Highs of 17C (63F) are in the forecast until Monday. I can deal with about 65F for now. The 20Cs (70+F) will on Sunday. The sun is shining and it made for a nice walk to the bus stop.
It appears that there is not a whole lot of work to be done today. I will head to the gym after work and then a meeting this evening. Unfortunately, Kim has a doctor's appointment tomorrow in Cornwall, so she will be heading home for the evening. Our roommate, Mike, is away until Sunday. Therefore, it appears I will be alone in the apartment for a couple days. I really wish it were Christmas time so I could blast Christmas music and stare at the tree to keep me excited. I guess I'll have to find something else....
Glad to hear things are going well elsewhere. It's fascinating to think that we are only two days away from halfway until the Season!! Wow! That means that it is about halfway through the year until I see TSO again!! The year is zooming by!! Summer always seems to be the fastest - so much on the go. I'm excited to keep counting down!!
