Good afternoon all!


I am home from work today because my 5 y/o has come down with an ear infection and I had to bring him to the Dr. If it was any other day I would be at work but my wife goes to her college class on Wednesday and we usually have a babysitter but I couldn't leave him with a babysitter while dealing with it. My kids are totally nuts today I am at my wits end, they are still dealing with being overtired from the weekend and we are the ones who have to pay for it. My older son caught a fly and was playing with it I had to explain to him they are dirty and they eat poo. My little guy got into the Christmas CD's. Plus much more.


One word describes today: AAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!

holiday here today...so of course i am in a good mood.....tonight our soccer national team plays their last test match before the world cup starts...uh boy...i am so exited...i can barely think straight no more.......over here....we live and breath soccer....just like the brits.....this is the biggest thing ....to most even bigger than the olympics.........all u gon see over here are happy people, flags and thousands of people gathered together to watch the games live on huuuuuuuuuuuge screens

Wet and cool morning here, but the sun is breaking through the clouds and it will get up to 20c. Power was out last night for awhile (I woke up because it was suddenly to quiet, no fan going!)

Good Morning all.... did not sleep good last night, going to be a long day! Out little guy was up and down all night crying. Would not tell us what was wrong... well around 5 am a slight fever started to set in, caught it as it was starting. He is also outgrowing his toddler bed....Thankfully the bunkbed gets delivered tomorrow afternoon so tomorrow night he will have a big boy bed.

My mom comes home from the rehab center tonight. She had a hard time getting around with a cast on her foot but her short stay at the rehab center really helped her with that.

Well off to get more coffee.. Have a great day....

Hey! It's a great day to be alive and well along the road to recovery after my Memorial Day weekend - um - adventure.
I feel at about 75% today and hope to be approaching the 100% mark by the end of the weekend.

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Wow, we got a lot of rain yesterday. My little tomato plants are swimming. I hope they make it.

We've been planning a rummage sale this weekend to raise more money for city beautification. We worked on it till 10 pm last night. Our group, The Friends of Bellville, bought the Christmas banners for the street poles last year, and I want to buy some fall banners this year. Here's hoping it goes well!

My original contract for this job with the Association of Canadian Community Colleges was supposed to end on the last week of June, however, I have been told that they want to keep me for the rest of the summer.
