Last day with no A/C!
It was warm and humid all night. Slept with the windows open and a fan on. Not too bad.
The interior temp gradually dropped from 89 to about 84 by morning.
It will be on the way up again shortly since we are back up to 80 outside already with lots of sun.
Yikes! We wouldn't survive here without ac. Up around 100 all weekend. I hope you get your ac going soon.
Well, good morning my fun loving Christmas friends! The coffee is going, I'm watching a little Nascar, and reading the boards....WHAT COULD BE BETTER?
The only thing that I can think of is if the season were here, but it will be before long.
Sounds like a nice relaxing Sunday. Enjoy!

I slept until 9:30 this morning. I needed the sleep, I felt really bad yesterday. My grandson and my dad were sick all week and I thought I was getting sick too. I feel a little better today and hope we can make it to church on time. I do have to go to work by 12:30. I just talked to my boss and he told me to do what I need to do to get better but I told him I should be fine. They will let me leave if I start feeling too bad.

I hope everyone has a good week ahead!

Good morning, everyone!!

Just a quick stop in to say hello! Kim's graduation was great yesterday. She was so happy!! We went to Cornwall afterward to visit her family that could not attend. Kim's mom drove us back to Ottawa this morning. Cornwall was fun and it's always good to see her family. My graduation is this upcoming Friday. I'm very excited to see my dad, mom and her husband.

Have a fantastic Sunday, everyone!!!

Good Afternoon MMC !

I survived my trip to Canada's Wonderland yesterday! http://www.canadaswonderland.com/index.cfm#actions

Put my pedometer on for the day and walked 15,146 steps, that is about 7 1/2 miles! (would explain the sore feet last night) I even went on a roller coaster called the vortex, but really liked the old merry go round much better. cheesy (coward at heart!)

Have a great day everyone!

Our local relay for life event raised over $265,000.00, my team came in fifth place for raising the most funds. I had a goal to run one lap around that quarter mile track and wound up running six. Woot! Woot! :snowball:

Congrats!

It has been hot and humid the last 2 days, we were in a tornado watch all day yesterday, which are extremely rare up here. Having a thunderstorm as I type. My family and I went out to Friendly's for breakfast this morning it was very good, did a few errands after that, I finally bought myself a cellphone, first time I have had one in a few years.
Have a good day all!

Well I just got done watching a long boring nascar race. Now I am going to kick back and watch food network challenge. I hope everyone is enjoying their sunday!!!!!

I am headed to bed so I can get up in 5 hours and head out to work. I want to hit my accounts down close to kentucky in the morning so I plan on leaving home at about 6am. Goodnight everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning, Friends!

Yes, sir! Tomorrow! The 200-Day Christmas Day window!
And I've got big news. Our NEXT milestone is the ONE HALF mark to Christmas Day!!
Want to know when? Just check out our handy-dandy post # 1 chart. (It's closer than you think!)

Yet another sunny morning and it's supposed to be cooler today.
I show 68 degrees on my thermometer, currently.

Well, I'm expecting the A/C installers in less than half an hour and then I should be back up and running.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone!

Good Monday Morning!

Busy day for me today. My oldest grandson is out for the summer so I have all 3 of my grandkids all day while my daughter works. We might go to the Children's Museum today that we are members of.

I hope everyone has a great day today!

Im off on Wednesdays and of course its going to be rainy but it doesnt matter as long as Im with my boys cheesy. I dont have much planned this week besides work. I think I will take the boys to get some professional pics done on Wednesday. Have a great week my friends!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I haven't posted since Friday. My router at home quit working. :-?

We had our rummage sale and raised $1200! We're trying to decide between ordering every-day banners (Welcome to Historic Bellville) or Fall banners (my preference). I can't wait!

Yesterday was Nancy's birthday. My son bought a (new) waffle iron at the rummage sale so he could make waffles for his mom on her birthday. I was helping him with it, but forgot the spray the oil on the plates. That was a terrible, sticky mess. I helped my daughter make french toast, instead and they gave her breakfast in bed. Then we did gifts and lunch at mom's house, and dinner at Olive Garden. Great day!

My kids are the best! As I mentioned above, Jacob bought a waffle iron with his own money to make waffles for his mama. I'm going to help him try it again. Elizabeth has overheard me complaining about my feet hurting at the end of the day. She used her own money and bought a foot massager (with the bubbles and the vibrating) at the rummage sale. She cleaned it, set it up and I used it for an hour. Then she even rubbed my feet afterwards, like they do at the spa. When she finished, she asked "do your feet feel better now, daddy?" Well, of course they did! It obviously made her so proud that she had helped me. She said she would rub my feet anytime they hurt. My Lord, she loves her daddy. cheesy Nancy won't even do that for me!

Enough about me! I hope you all have a great Monday! cheesy

Good morning, everyone!

It's hard to believe that our next Milestone is tomorrow. It will be quite surreal to see that Days to Christmas Day count fall below 200 and be represented with at most a 1-- rather than 2--. As Crown said, the next milestone is close by afterward, therefore we will not have to worry about too much of a drought between celebrations. I'm sure that the warm weather and beautiful summers will allow time to pass quite comfortably.

The weekend was great for me. As I previously mentioned, Kim's graduation was nice experience and Cornwall - her hometown - was also enjoyable. Her family is always so welcoming and I like spending time with them. Yesterday was a little busy. I had to purchase some groceries. Somehow, I spent a bit more than I had expected. As long as it all gets eaten, I guess.

I was not supposed to buy a whole lot as my dad, mom and her husband are coming up on Wednesday. My graduation is on Friday. My dad will be staying at my place with Kim, Mike and I, where as my mom and her husband will be staying in a hotel downtown. I'm excited to see them again. I have not yet seen any of them since 2009! Unfortunately, I have to work and will not be able to spend as much time as I would like with them. However, I am sure we'll make the most of it anyway.

It was great to see the Blackhawks take a 3-2 series lead last night in Chicago. Hopefully they will come out with the same intensity as they did last night in Philadelphia on Wednesday. I am really pulling for a Wednesday finish of the series. I don't think I can handle another nail-biting Game Seven, especially with my mom - a lifelong Blackhawks fan - beside me. Between my mom, dad, brother and I, we have never had our favourite team win a Stanley Cup since my brother and I were born (he was born in '81) and I really would like to see that change on Wednesday night. It will be a treat to watch the celebration with my mom as well. My fingers are definitely crossed. Plenty of excitement this week!!

Anyway, I should be going. I have a bit of proofreading and editing to do - amongst other things. I may be in and out throughout the day, but hope that everyone enjoys their Milestone Eve. Have a great Monday, everyone!!

Great stuff, Brad! You definitely should be proud. Your kids seem ever so thoughtful! Now if only I could get my girlfriend to rub my feet... She won't go near them either. The fall banners would be a nice addition to your town. They would definitely be a perfect lead into the Christmas banners purchased last year. If you ask me, it's much more special to have banners for specific times of the year. And, what better time to do it than fall and Christmas!! Good luck with that!
