Christmas Countdown - 2010

I hear ya, it was a toasty last couple of days here too. We we warm and it got cooler earlier somehow! I say the weather is not 100% positive. I think there is margin of error because sometimes they have said 89 and it's been 77 or it gets REALLY windy out of nowhere before they report it.

3 months and one week left of the heat.....yikes.

Coffee for sure! It's been hot everywhere I think. 92 in Chicago yesterday, but since I was painting up on a roof top, it felt at least 10 degrees hotter. Oh and then there was the whole getting stung by a wasp that I didnt dig very much. Today is already better because I'm not at work. Now where is that coffee?

Hi guys! Have been busy the past few days so I haven't had a chance to catch up on posts.. looks like we're all dealing with this awful heat and humidity... blech.

Looking at some more houses today (what else is new!!!) and helping my sister with some wedding stuff.. less than 3 months to go until she gets married!

Everyone is sleeping late so I should go and enjoy my coffee in peace!

Well it is going to be another hot one today. It got up to 90 yesterday but with the humidity it felt like 101. Today they are saying that it is going to be even hotter. It is hard to believe that it is not even technically summer yet. I am getting ready to go help my sister and brother in law pack their durango to go on vacation. They keep saying that there is no way everything is going to fit in the back of it and I keep telling them that there is plenty of room. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

G'morning, friends! Hope everyone is enjoying their coffee and the rest of us is getting to sleep late. I am enjoying my coffee and watching some sports center. I am trying to decide what to do today. I know there will be some yard work and maybe cleaning the truck, but other than that I don't have a clue.

Binger, this hot weather makes me yearn for Darlene Love. I cant wait.

Going to be hot here today too, already 21c and it's not even 9:30. (about 70f) Thunderstorms on the way too.

Gonna get the house cleaned up today...if I don't get to busy relaxing! cheesy

It makes me happy to know that all the coffee-lovers (including me) are enjoying some of that delicious, life-giving drink! And.... I also love to hear everyone trying to endure the awful heat/humidity as best as possible! When someone tells me that they LOVE the hot weather..... I draw a blank and wonder "What am I missing that is good about this weather????"

I'm counting down the days until more civilized weather returns! And..... meanwhile..... Christmas In July is approaching! YAY!!! &

I am up drinking some coffee. We have some errands to run today. If we have time I would like to go to Hobby Lobby and see what Fall and Christmas items they have put out already.

Anyone have big plans for Father's Day? I bought my dad autographed comic books by our famous George Broderick Jr.! I gave them to him early, he loves them!

Well, it looks like the hot topic around here today is the heat.
The solution is to think Christmas - think snow - think cool!
Actually, we have the same situation here.
Heat and humidity. We are predicted to get into the low to mid 90's at least, for the next week or two.
(And it actually isn't Summer yet. Sheesh!)

Anyway, let's look at the count and cool off a bit:
Days to the Season: 147
Days to Christmas Day: 189
One week from today, Guys - The HALF WAY Milestone to Christmas Day.
(Now that's a wonderfully chilling thought!)

Well, I hope everyone's weekend is off to a great begining and that all of you have a......Sensational Saturday!

Well I got my sisters durango all packed and they left for the state park. She was right in saying they where never going to get everything in their car becuase all of the boxes that they had packed were still half empty. Once I condensed all the boxes they had room to spare. Since mom went with them I am just going to kick back and enjoy the peace and quiet for awhile or maybe I will price a plane ticket out to see my other sister in seattle where the high today is going to be in the 60's.

I actually watched a little of the World Cup today, the US was robbed on that call where the ref said no goal. But I am looking forward to the NHL Draft next Friday, Bruins 3 picks in the first 32. 16 more days until my vacation.

Unfortunately, it is looking more and more like the Oilers are going to select Taylor Hall with their first pick. Hall would definitely be a better fit right now for the Bruins.

I hear you on that one, Seguin had the same amount of points with a weaker team so I will be happy with him also, still have hope for Hall. I am also hoping that the rumors are true about them trading into the top 5 to get possibly Fowler though, the rumors are running wild with the Bruins all over them around here.
