Well I am getting ready to head out and do some work this morning. I plan on just doing some of my accounts right here around town so I should be done in a little over an hour. Then it will be back home to get out of the heat. It is going to be a little bit cooler today with the high only getting to 90. There is also a good chance of rain today which will be nice. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Off to London this morning to take mom to her eye appointment check up. Air Conditioner in the car does not work, so not looking forward to the trip in this heat.

Going up to 32c again with humidex of up to 40c.

Well, I got in 10 total miles today! I ran 5 and walked 5, 2.5 of each this morning and afternoon.

Congratulations! My older brother who is 48 years old runs all the time and enters races. He usually comes in first or second place in his age category. He has ran up to 10 miles and said he wants to run a marathon someday. His last race he ran was in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago and came in first in his age group and 15th overall. Keep up the good work!

We set an all-time record high for July 7th yesterday at 102 degrees!
Fortunately, we should now show a gradual temperature decline with a good chance of some rain today and for the rest of the week.
It is 78 currently on my back door thermometer.

The count:
Days to the Season: 128
Days to Christmas Day: 170
A mere six days now until the 2/3 Season Milestone.
Then on to SINGLE DIGITS to the Season begining.
(Can that be possible??)

Let me tell you, with all the heat, I'm certainly glad I had my A/C repaired when I did!

Hello everyone! I hope all is well. Work is going well, today was payday (even better)! I found out that a guy I work with, who is also a friend of my dad, has prostate cancer. He just found out. So please keep him in your prayers.

It has been HOT here in the NWI area, I'm starting to think about Christmas more and more because of it! lol Target has their Back to School stuff out, not too much longer until the Fall stuff!

Very sorry to hear about your Dad's friend, I will surely keep him in my prayers.

Man...I sure wish I could spend more time here during the evenings! I work very long days and I travel and great distance to and from work (2 hours each way)! I guess it will be the weekends that I get a chance to be here more -and do more things (like get some pictures on my profile)! You've all just made this so much fun - and I'm loving the stories and the games!

Its so addicting in the best way cheesy. I wish I could get on more on the weekends and in the evenings also..luckily I dont have to traffic far for work but I have a 10 month old and a 3 year old so my evenings and weekends are pretty busy with the little monsters!

OMG! Our local radio station has their Christmas station online for Christmas in July! http://www.wlit.com/main.html I can't believe it! If only they would put it on the radio! This has been a great day! Can't wait to go to Hallmark to get my next ornament in my Mickey's Christmas Carol collection!

That is so cool my co worker and I have it up now and are listening haha.. we will have to turn it off when my boss gets in though..thanks for sharing!

Herer are a few pix of the place we stayed at in Pigeon Forge, TN last week. It was wonderful!

The 2-story Glockenspiel that rang every hour and play Christmas songs on the bells.

I LOVED this place and I'm ready to go back. We are planning a trip back to the mountains during the Christmas break from school. Maybe I can talk Nancy into letting me stay a night or two here. It's a little expensive, but they offer AAA discounts.

I finally got my phone line fixed (or Bellsouth did, rather) and I found my truck keys, so things are looking up here!

Oh no Im sorry to hear about your rocking chair! It was an extra special pay day for me (and next week too) because I have worked a full week and get an extra day of pay (usually I have off Wednesdays) ... also my Hubby and I both get paid 5 times in July so we will have a little extra money which will probably be going towards Christmas gifts lol
