Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm still trying to get into the swing of "business as usual" after our extended vacation. Our home phone isn't working right, the phone co. is coming to check it, I lost my truck keys and I'm still trying to get finished with our remodel...but, hey...at least it's interesting!

Today is suppose to be the worse day this week heat and humidity wise. I have had my fill of the summer heat.

Same here!!!!! We are expecting a high of 94 with 90% humidity today. They are saying it is going to feel like 105. :-?

Tomorrow we plan to go the Frontier of Flight Museum out at Love Field airport. They have a nice display of planes there and a section for kids to play in.

That sounds really cool!!!!! I wish me had a flight muesum around here.

Wednesday's work day is almost 1/2 over! This is my 2nd week in a row working on Wednesday (which is normally my day off)...Im ready for the weekend and like many of you I am tired of summer and this heat. It was 105 here yesterday and we broke all the records..today is suppose to be 103...I hope this month and August for that matter goes by quickly and the heat subsides. My ear is feeling much better today which Im very thankful for. Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Well my boss finally got on the conference call this morning 25 minutes late. Then she just sat there and read all of are paperwork to us again. The whole purpose of the conference call is for her to answer questions we might have about our new paperwork after we have read it all. It doesn't really do any good to have one if she has no idea what is going on before the call. At least I can put her on speakerphone and then go about doing what ever I need to do around the apartment. This afternoon I need to run to the grocery store and I might try to swing by hobby lobby while I am out. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another HOT day here supposed to be in the high 90's. I am already sick of summer, I want to see leaves on the ground and pumpkins on the doorsteps. We may go to the mall just to get out of the house. I feel it may be an ice cream night also just to help cool off a bit. Diet has been suffering a little bit lately, but I am still doing well on it, I have plateaued a bit but better than I was.

I can almost smell my pumpkin candle...I am so ready for the Fall and cant wait to see the first pumpkin on someones porch

I recently moved. I couldn't help myself when I moved everything out of storage. I had to open up the Christmas boxes and take a look. I sneaked a peek at the Halloween box, too. That won't be long now.

Hope everyone is doing well in the heat. It is hot and muggy here in Western Wisconsin, but we've got some nice temps compared to some I've heard around the country. And some more rain.

I agree. To See The Autumn Leaves would be pretty nice right now !! Pumpkins would be even better with them !!

Don't worry about your diet. Things will come back into balance once vacations are over and stuff !! You have done a great job !!!

Just finished for today. The docs today were pretty good !!

I have 1 more day this week and then technically I am off until Sunday but I have some time to pay back for being off for surgery last week so I may make it up over Friday.

Another hot one for lots of us today!!

I just got off the phone with my sister in seattle and she was complaining about hot it was there. I told her I didn't even want to hear it. They are going to get up to 89 today but it is the first day above 80 that they have seen all summer. I told her we have been dealing with this for over a month now. I do feel kind of bad for her though becasue the air conditioning compressor on her car is broke but I told her if she lived here I could fix it for her and she wouldn't have to worry about coming up with $700 to take it to a shop.

I would love to see the leaves changing and pumpkins out everywhere. I have been craving some good fresh apple cider and a nice warm apple dumpling lately. I wish fall would just hurry up and get here!!!!!!

We ended up going the Flight Museum today. The kids loved it! I would LOVE to go to the air museum in Ohio. I love looking at aircraft and going to air shows but I HATE flying! Lol! I just like to watch.

I know what you mean about getting into routine after vacation. I had a little trouble myself since getting back on the 5th. I hope your phone gets working and you find your keys.

In the hospital tonight, keeping watch over Mom. She has been in the hospital seven of the last nine weeks -- a tough stretch. She is afraid to fall asleep but I promised her I would stay awake and listen to see that she is still breathing. I'm pleased to say that Mom still has the same snore I remember from when I was a child and it gives me a measure of comfort here tonight.

Hello everyone! I hope all is well. Work is going well, today was payday (even better)! I found out that a guy I work with, who is also a friend of my dad, has prostate cancer. He just found out. So please keep him in your prayers.

It has been HOT here in the NWI area, I'm starting to think about Christmas more and more because of it! lol Target has their Back to School stuff out, not too much longer until the Fall stuff!
