Good Tuesday morning, my Chirstmas friends!

I've been on vacation since June 25th and it was a BLAST! There's too much to go into, but we had a great time. And I got to spend the night at the Inn at Christmas Place. It was more beautiful than I would have ever expected. I'll upload some pix soon.

I've been reading some of the earlier posts trying to catch up, but it's going to take a while.

I've missed all of you terribly. I'm going to have to look for a laptop before my next trip.

We are roasting over here.. 100 degrees today!!!! And my son and I both have nasty colds - what luck! 7 weeks before my due date and in the worst heat wave in 10 years, lol!

Anyway, I've been thinking about you all often... Hallmark is putting out their ornaments this weekend and I am so excited!!!! And we moved settlement up so we move back into our own house for the first time in 4 months very soon, woo hoo!!!!

Good afternoon everyone! Im glad I only have an hour left of my work day. Something is going on with my ear and its driving me nuts. I did go swimming this weekend but wasnt under water. I can barely hear out of it and there is an echo and a whistling feeling..its not fun. The lady I work with has some drops that will dry out the water if that is what it is..I hope they work or else I will have to break down and go to a nighttime doctor to figure out what is going on. Its very hot and humid here...the Fall cant get here fast enough!

I forgot to add that we went to a 4th of July parade yesterday and they had a summer "Santa" he wasnt the best Santa lol but I was so excited and so were my kids cheesy. My Hubby couldnt believe it..here we are in the middle of summer and at home we are listening to Christmas music and he said he couldnt get away from it (seeing Santa at the parade) haha

Good evening to all

The trip to Boston and back was quick and easy, no traffic. The temps were over 100 degrees today, you start sweating as soon as you walk out the door.
My sister and niece got in safely, and are settling in. I am tired from driving so have a good night all

Okay I am feeling really lazy today. I have been trying to motivate myself to do the dishes for the last 2 hours and I still haven't got up the energy to do them. Theres not that much there and I could probablly do them in 5 minutes but I just don't want to get up and do them. If only my apartment had a dishwasher.

Ha ha! That is how I feel today. I was sitting in the living room earlier today watching my grandsons play video games and my granddaughter was taking a nap. I picked up my cell phone to call my son in the other room to ask him something. My grandson asked who I was talking to and I said "your Uncle Trevor." He said, "he is home, why did you call him?" I said, "I am too lazy to walk in there." :lol: What would we do without cell phones? :wink:

I had a problem with my ear like that for a few days. I tried sudafed and was surprised that it worked, it drained it and cleared right away! It helps clear sinuses and since that is all connected it's worth the try.

Good morning Christmas friends! Hope everyone is doing great (considering this crazy heat). Made, I know what you mean about lacking motivation. For two years, I exercised every morning at 5:00 and since about the middle of Dec., I have done nothing. I have tried for the past two weeks to get out of bed and go do it, but I just can't. Well, this morning I did, so hopefully I can get back in that habit!

Back to work for me today. It was a nice couple days off.

Good morning!!! Well I am have been in a major Christmas mode for the past week. Over the weekend watched a bunch of old Christmas commericals, listened to Christmas music, started working on my gift list trying to figure out what to get everyone.

This is a short work week for me as we had Monday off and I am off Friday since that is the day we leave for vacation.

Today is suppose to be the worse day this week heat and humidity wise. I have had my fill of the summer heat.

I am here with my grandkids and we might try to go somewhere today. Tomorrow we plan to go the Frontier of Flight Museum out at Love Field airport. They have a nice display of planes there and a section for kids to play in.

Days to Christmas Day: 171
Wow! Look at THAT view. We are now LESS than a week off from the 2/3 Season Milestone.
Just look at that through your binoculars!

Sheesh! One hundred and one in the shade here yesterday with the same reading expected for today. Summer is REALLY too here!
Fortunately, there is a chance of rain tomorrow through the rest of the week with temps down into the lower 90's.
(I can almost hear the grass calling out for water.)

Well, try to keep cool (preferably with Holiday, Carl and me at the 'Pines) and have a Wonderful Wednesday, Folks.

Good morning all!

Another HOT day here supposed to be in the high 90's. I am already sick of summer, I want to see leaves on the ground and pumpkins on the doorsteps. We may go to the mall just to get out of the house. I feel it may be an ice cream night also just to help cool off a bit. Diet has been suffering a little bit lately, but I am still doing well on it, I have plateaued a bit but better than I was.
