Christmas Countdown - 2010

Good morning, everyone!!

It's Friday! In Canada, we are on the verge of a long weekend! Civic Holiday is on Monday. No pay, but an extra day of rest! Also, today is only a half day at work, which makes it even better! I am usually here until 1:30 - summer hours - but I am only here until 11:30 today. Kim, Mike and I have to sign the lease for our new apartment at noon. We are all fairly excited! We can move in as of tomorrow, but since we are paying our last month's rent at the other apartment as well, we are going to avoid the long weekend rush and move in next weekend. We can't wait!

Kim and I are going to her hometown of Cornwall this weekend. She has not been home in a couple months and wants to do plenty of (free) laundry rather than paying for it at our building. Her brother is picking us up this evening. Can't say no to a free ride there and back. The city is not the nicest, but I enjoy being around her family. It should be a good time.

Overall, it is quite comfortable today. The humidity has disappeared and should not return until Monday. Not bad at all! I only have two more hours at work, so I really should get down to business! I have one very important task to complete. Hopefully I will check in before I leave this evening.

Good morning and Happy FRIDAY! The weather here this morning is perfection..around 74 with low humidity! We are suppose to have a beautiful weekend. Tomorrow we are going to pick out Dylan's 1st Birthday presents. We dont have a whole lot else planned except to enjoy the nice weather. Monday or Tuesday night we will be going our local huge carnival which I have been going to for about 15 years now...I cant wait...lots of yummy food! Have a nice Friday everyone!

Not much going on here today. It's just HOT. It's almost August, then it'lll be September. I love months that end in "ber"; October, November, December. The best time of the year!

Well, it was a great trip with cooperating weather.
The only rain that fell was at night.
Bermuda is a beautiful place to visit but getting more and more crowded as time goes by.
Incredible colorful houses, all with white tile roofs.
You should visit if you get the chance.

The weather remains hot with a high of 97 here yesterday.
Some rain chance.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!! It has been a busy morning here. I picked my nieces up at 8am this morning and took them to dunkin donuts to get some breakfast. We took the donuts over to the park and had a picnic and then they played for about 3 hours. I brought them back to my apartment for lunch and then we had to sit down and watch sponge bob for a couple of hours. I finally got them both to lay down and take a nap about 30 minutes ago. I seriously considered taking a nap with them but I missed all of you and had to check in here. My brother in law should be here in about another hour to pick up my nieces and take them home so I am thinking about waking them up about a half before that and getting them hyped up on sugar before they go home.:lol: We stopped at hobby lobby on our way home from the park and they had alot more of the individual ornaments out. Ours still had no Santa's though. This evening will be spent doing laundry and cleaning my apartment. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I woke up I watched A Christmas Story, A Christmas Carol, with Patrick Stewart and a christmas episode of M*A*S*H. I felt terrible but it was nice to watch some Christmas movies! I am not sure how today will be until I finish my coffee and wake up. I just had a sneezing attack and hope that's the end of it! I don't want to spend another day in bed!

I hope you are feeling better! Feeling good or bad...watching Christmas movies and specials is one of the best ways to spend the day! Be well!

Good evening, Christmas friends!

Well...it was a very odd day. Not to get into any details - the day started out rough. This "ChristmasHeart" sure has the Christmas spirit and lots of love, perkiness, joy and lots of tendernous - but it can also be hurt...very easily. I had myself a cry this morning - and a little more this afternoon. Some people can be hurtful with words. I'm feeling a little better now...but my heart still feels a little sad.

On a happier note...my husband picked me up from the train station after work - for me to find that he was listening to my Christmas CD in the car!!! HA! I think I'm rubbing off on him! :grin:

Well...my jammies are already on - and I'm ready to rest for the evening!
