Good evening, Christmas Family.

What a week !! Today is my Friday. I am off on the real Friday and Saturday and my week starts on Sunday. This is one of those nights when I am so tired I can barely move. Very stressful this week. I know most of you don't do transcription but if some of you do, you will know what I mean. I kept running out of work this week. Running out of work means no dictations to type which means no line count which means no pay !!

Well...ITS FRIDAY - and good morning to you, Christmas friends. Oh...and its a long weekend for most of us up here in the great white north, EH! ("Coo roo coo coo coo coo coo coo", Bob and Doug McKenzie - for those of you who are familiar with these guys cheesy)...hahahaha!

It is actually chilly this morning at only 15c (that is only 59F) But, it will go all the up to 23c!

Ok, now that I've got the out of the way....big plans tonight. Dinner with the wife, fancy restaurant, great food. Tonight when you hear from me, I will probably be miserable and nearly sick to my stomach from overdoing it. Then tomorrow......

Tomorrow I'm starting a diet. Gotta change how I eat because it's just not healthy. I'm aiming for 10 pounds a month until Christmas (but will take 25 pounds by Christmas). I've already lost eight pounds in the past month because I've started running, but I've gotta get the diet to go with it.

Not to fear, my fearless leader Binger, the coffee will continue to pour! That's one thing that I won't be cutting.

As this is the last day of the month, enjoy this great Friday. I feel like August, for me, is the doorstep to the best time of year. We are ABOUT to be lead to fall and that's where all the fun is.

Well, the day did get better, but we were extremely busy at work. Made me forget about the bad day for the most part, I guess my wife had a hard time with the LC tonight, he is just so much trouble lately, it has got to be the terrible twos. (I hope)

Ahh yes! The terrible twos. I went through that with my daughter but hers started at a year and half. It was tough times but I kept thinking she's healthy and thankful she is around to "tear up" the house! Lol! My son never went through terrible two's. I thought that was strange, lol. Then when he was a little older he got very hyper. He's 20 now and very laid back. Hang in there, they get through it and get better! cheesy

last night, the kids spent the night with their cousins, a boy and girl about the same age as Jacob & Elizabeth. They've been overnight there many times. Last night around 12:45am, Elizabeth called, crying. She said she felt like she had hardly seen me at all today, and just wanted to come home. Well, that broke my heart. I hopped up, got dressed and went and picked up my little honeybee. She cried all the way home, finally calming down when we got home. We let her sleep with us, and everything was better this morning. I'd do anything to keep her from crying!

We went through that with my son on many occasions. He would get home sick and just wanted to be home with us. We have picked him up at 3 am and nothing wrong with going and picking them up at any time! Kids should know that you will always be there for them when they feel bad. It's kind of funny but he is still a homebody. My daughter is VERY SOCIAL and outgoing and he has always been the opposite and content to be that way. As opposite as they are they seem to be the very best of friends!

Well it has been a long day here. We are kind of weird here in that our grocery store ads run thursday through wednesday instead of sunday to saturday. So this morning I got up and looked at the ads and decided to run to the store before they ran out of everyhting. I think the cashier thought I was crazy buying 10 jars of peanut butter but I go through a jar a week so I stock up when they run it 10 for $10. Then I had to pick up my oldest niece while my sister took my youngest one to the doctor. We went out to lunch and then I took her to the store and told her that I would buy her a couple of new outifts for when she goes back to school. Three stores, 4 outfits, one i-carly doll, and two candy bars later I decided that I should have just taken her to the park to play. Since I bought her so much I also had to buy my youngest niece a couple of outfits and I told my sister in seattle that I would send her money to go buy my niece and nephew out there a couple of outfits for when they go back to school. So it turned out to be quite an expensive day. When we were at target though I noticed they had some really good clearance deals going on in their toy department. So after I dropped my niece off I ran back there and picked up five more gifts to put back for christmas. I finally got home around 8 this evening and I decided to sit out on the front porch and enjoy the evening since it wasn't that warm out. I came in to watch the news at ten o'clock and laughed when the weather man said that it is going to get chilly here since we are only going to break 90 on 3 of the next 7 days. I hope everyone had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

All our store ads run the same way. Sounds like your nieces had a great time with you! You are so good to them! When it comes to buying a toy for my grandkids, for no paticular reason, I take them to the Dollar Tree. I tell them they can have anything they want! Their eyes light up because they don't realize it's just a buck and I don't have to limit anything by saying no to several toys because they might be overpriced. They can get ANYTHING! cheesy They love it!

I just woke up. I didn't get back on my computer again yesterday after I posted I felt bad. I just stayed in bed and slept. When I woke up I watched A Christmas Story, A Christmas Carol, with Patrick Stewart and a christmas episode of M*A*S*H. I felt terrible but it was nice to watch some Christmas movies! I am not sure how today will be until I finish my coffee and wake up. I just had a sneezing attack and hope that's the end of it! I don't want to spend another day in bed!

Great plan! Best way to loose is slow and steady.(just like you gained it) But, you don't need a diet, you need a healthy eating plan you can live with the rest of your life.
Write down what you eat and how much every day so you can see where you are now. That way you know where you need to make changes. Ban no food, just learn to live with it in moderation.
You can do it!
I have been loosing about 2lbs a week, total of 34.2 lbs now in 17 weeks. This is by counting calories, and walking most days.
I enjoy all foods and if I crave something I have it. (now it is like only 1 twinkie instead of a box of them!)

Holidays are coming teaser: I saw at Walmart Bakery today they had Pumpkin Pies for sale, I don't know if they sell them year round, but I never noticed them before, only around Sept-Oct is when I start seeing them

Someone else sent me a link to her music. She has several songs on youtube, and yes, she is amazing! I checked out her website. She's in TX, and performs at churches for free. It also said her mom died of cancer a few months ago. Poor thing.

Not much going on here today. It's just HOT. It's almost August, then it'lll be September. I love months that end in "ber"; October, November, December. The best time of the year!

Good morning, everyone!!

It's Friday! In Canada, we are on the verge of a long weekend! Civic Holiday is on Monday. No pay, but an extra day of rest! Also, today is only a half day at work, which makes it even better! I am usually here until 1:30 - summer hours - but I am only here until 11:30 today. Kim, Mike and I have to sign the lease for our new apartment at noon. We are all fairly excited! We can move in as of tomorrow, but since we are paying our last month's rent at the other apartment as well, we are going to avoid the long weekend rush and move in next weekend. We can't wait!

Kim and I are going to her hometown of Cornwall this weekend. She has not been home in a couple months and wants to do plenty of (free) laundry rather than paying for it at our building. Her brother is picking us up this evening. Can't say no to a free ride there and back. The city is not the nicest, but I enjoy being around her family. It should be a good time.

Overall, it is quite comfortable today. The humidity has disappeared and should not return until Monday. Not bad at all! I only have two more hours at work, so I really should get down to business! I have one very important task to complete. Hopefully I will check in before I leave this evening.
