Enjoy them while you can. They will be gone before you know it. My 14 yr old starts drivers ed next week and I feel like crying.Good Thursday afternoon, my Christmas friends!
Wow, what a busy day it's been! I had to meet the appraiser at the house today for our refi appraisal, and Nancy worked me like a dog. I had to cut the grass, take out the trash, walk the dog and clean up around my computer desk...this morning! Anyway, it's done.
last night, the kids spent the night with their cousins, a boy and girl about the same age as Jacob & Elizabeth. They've been overnight there many times. Last night around 12:45am, Elizabeth called, crying. She said she felt like she had hardly seen me at all today, and just wanted to come home. Well, that broke my heart. I hopped up, got dressed and went and picked up my little honeybee. She cried all the way home, finally calming down when we got home. We let her sleep with us, and everything was better this morning. I'd do anything to keep her from crying!
Now I have to run and get a haircut. Whew!
I hope you all have a great day, and stay cool...it's 102°F right now!

Experienced some of the negative things of living in the mountains this week; killed a copperhead in our driveway and shot at coyotes in the yard.
