What a lightening storm we had roll through last night. Beautiful streaks of lightening bolts constantly flashing. I love watching it.

So...I was researching the internet to find out when we would be relieved of this terrible hot and humid summer we are having, and I found out that this winter (Oct 2010- Mar 2011) is going to be as harsh this year up in Canada as it was gentle last year! Oh boy...I think we are going to be "in for it" this Fall/Winter season!
Looks like we will have the "Great White North" back again, eh? cheesy "Coo roo coo coo coo coo coo coo" (Bob & Doug McKenzie)

Morning everyone... rough afternoon/evening yesterday. My sweet little guy had a seizure! 
He's had febrile seizures in the past due to fevers, but he wasn't sick yesterday... went through a battery of tests at the hospital (he was SO brave! The nurse said at 2.5, he was tougher than most adults who had to get bloodwork!) and everything came up 100% normal. We have to follow up with a pediatric neurologist for an EEG and MRI. I am so nervous because my mom has epilepsy and I'd hate for my little honey to have anything ail him the rest of his life, but there are far worse things in life.
He's back to normal and playing like crazy this morning... my hubby let him have ice cream for breakfast and he was as happy as can be!
Now I am praying this baby decides to stay in a little longer so we can maybe get some answers before this one comes along, but I guess I don't have control of that!!

We were suppose to get a "cold front" coming in today with a high of 99 degrees. That changed, it will be 103 and I have to work in this heat. Not sure 99 would have been any better, lol. We are suppose to get rain tomorrow, hopefully!

Still waiting around to leave, my wife decided to go to her Aunt's house to pick some blueberries last minute before we go so here I am. Woke up around 4AM this morning because I smelled fire, I freaked out ran around the house everything was fine, a neighbor must have had a campfire and the wind must have changed and blew the smell toward our house. Have a great Sunday!

Good morning everyone... Sorry for the late port this morning. I am off to a slow start this morning after our son's birthday party/cook out yesterday. Everything was great including the weather but it was a very LONG day. Now that his b-day party is over I can shift my focus to back to school and fall and then our daughters birthday in Oct.
Anyway enough rambling....onto the count

NOOOOO....I want a lot of snow again this winter (granted not as much as we had last year but still... Bring on the snow!)

The weatherman kept saying that we were going to get storms yesterday but they never developed. I was really looking forward to going out and sitting in the rain.
