I changed my schedule for school. I changed my Friday class to an online class so I can have a day off. I'm glad I did that! Anyway, I hope to talk to you all soon!

I am finally back and there were more than 15 pages since I was last on this thread on Sunday I scanned through them all quickly, a lot going on.
I am so sorry about your parents cat Christmas-A-holic.
The weekend was good we stayed with friends for a few days in the Berkshires, lots of swimming, mini-golf, and food. This weekend we will be going to Upstate New York to Lake George for 3 days and then the school year starts for my wife. I haven't had a chance to look around the site yet I was lost when I signed on but what little I have seen I like, I missed the site and all of my Christmas friends. Well I have a little exploring to do.

Jude's neurologist appointment is this afternoon... I am hopeful we'll get some positive news!

I couldn't wait to tell you all this...

On my way driving home from the train station, I saw...wait for it...THE FIRST SIGNS OF AUTUMN!!!

Every year about this time there is this tree along the side of the highway that is the first to start changing colour. Now...the weather has been wonky this year - so I wasn't sure if it was going to happen later. BUT...I SAW IT!!! The leaves are starting to change on this wonderful tree already!!! Oh...and I saw it happening to a few more trees as well!!!

I smiled when I read this. I also look for those signs around this time of the year! There was one tree I was eyeing the leaves that had fallen trying to decide if they where changing color or just happened to die. Still not sure, but will keep an eye on it! cheesy

Hello everyone! Long time no speak! I hope all is well! I have been busy with work and friends. Today was bittersweet for me. My best friend is going away to school tomorrow, I spent most of the day with her. She's like a sister to me. I'm going to visit her one weekend. My other friends are going back to Purdue, I'm gonna visit them another weekend.

My brother starts high school tomorrow (oh boy!). I changed my schedule for school. I changed my Friday class to an online class so I can have a day off. I'm glad I did that! Anyway, I hope to talk to you all soon!

Good morning everyone. Well it is still hot here, actually looked like it was gonna rain yesterday, but all we got was a very brief shower, which made the humidity go way up.

I was looking back at all the posts about my in-laws' cat Dudley. Very sad situation, he was a very sweet cat. Brought back memories of when my mom called saying they had to put our lab Max to sleep. I was standing in Big Lots crying, I still tear up when I think about it.

The vet just called my parents and said their cat's heart was too weak and kidneys were failing. They decided it was best to put him to sleep. My parents are crying and I am doing the same. I know they are hurting more than I am but I found Dudley as a stray 17 years ago. I was the first one to introduce him to the family and the last one to see him alive. Very sad situation.

Thanks to everyone for their prayers and stories of your own furry family members.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Dudley. His life was so extra special. He was a stray that found a home filled with people to love him for 17 years. His life was filled with love and he brought love and joy to those around him.

Rainy and cloudy here in NJ. Still warm and humid though. I do believe the leaves on the tree in my front yard is begining to get a hint of yellow and orange on the leaves!!! Then again, it could just be wishful thinking on my part. I can't wait for fall. One step closer to the holiday season. My little girl, Kayla is with her grammy today. She is doing much better, so I am back at work dreaming of the holiday season. Everyone have a great day!

Nope...no wishful thinking on your part! LOL! I got a tree right outside my kitchen window and this morning I noticed several yellow leaves and I am not that far from you. The first signs of Fall are upon us! Glad your little girl is better.

Good Morning everyone!!!! Rainy and overcast here. Makes me want to stay home and curl up on the sofa and watch some Christmas Movies. Not much going on except work and getting the stuff ready for our yard sale Saturday. Unloading all the clothes and toys the kids outgrew which is a ton of stuff.
