On my way driving home from the train station, I saw...wait for it...THE FIRST SIGNS OF AUTUMN!!!

Very nice! We don't get a pretty autumn here. It's not until November the leaves start to change a little then just fall. I still can't wait though!

Goodnight Christmas friends. I tell ya after reading about everyones furbabies it makes me sad..Im gonna listen to a few Christmas songs before I go to bed to brighten my mood. I have a slight headache too. Talk to you all tomorrow. Sweet dreams of Fall/Thanksgiving/Christmas or cooler temps..whichever makes you happy! cheesy

Hello everyone! Long time no speak! I hope all is well! I have been busy with work and friends. Today was bittersweet for me. My best friend is going away to school tomorrow, I spent most of the day with her. She's like a sister to me.

Glad you got to spend time with your friend before she leaves.

You know...I think the Wife and I are going to celebrate both Thanksgivings this year. That will be great. Made, Eli got hit pretty hard last night, huh? Ouch. Nasty gash. Said they was checking him out today. They won't find anything in his brain, he went to Ole Miss.

I cannot wait for Thanksgiving! Sounds like you have a good plan!

Jude's neurologist appointment is this afternoon... I am hopeful we'll get some positive news!

Good morning, everyone!

A week from today we reach our next milestone?! Christmas, four months away? Wow! The strangest thing happened this morning. While walking to work, I thought about a nice woman that I've worked for at an employment agency. I've had many jobs through the agency and she has always been very helpful. I have not talked to her in about three months. Anyway, about an hour afterward, she phoned and said she had a job for me this fall! It was with Health Canada - where I was last summer and I would be doing the same thing I did before they could not renew my contract last September. Obviously, I informed her that I could not accept the offer as I am going to Teachers College in North Bay. Too bad. But, she said to phone her as soon as I am coming back as I am in "high demand." I like that. Employment agencies can take a bit off your pay, but it's nice to know that a job will be waiting when I return. That really got my day off to a good start.

Yesterday was the first time in three months that I did not have to worry about going to practice on a Tuesday or Thursday night. It felt great! Kim's friend came over and we planned our trip to the Sault. Of course, this was all after my workout at the gym. It was tiring - especially since I was there for about an hour and a half - but fun! In fact, I am surprised I am not more sore today.

Well, I should get to work. My bosses are both away again and I need to get some work done. It should not take me very long, but I am hoping I can do it properly so it will be quite the painless procedure when she returns tomorrow!

Have a fantastic Wednesday, everyone. We begin closing in on the weekend on the other side of lunch!

Goodmorning everyone! Its raining and in the low 70's...surely makes me think of the Fall. I even stopped and bought a hot chocolate on my way into work this morning. In 10 weeks we will be in the week of Halloween....14 weeks Thanksgiving and of course 18 weeks Christmas! We are getting close!!!!! And to the lucky Candian's (hope that is spelt correct?) Your Thanksgiving is in less then 8 weeks..which also happens to be the week of my Birthday! Have a wonderful afternoon friends!

I can't wait for QVC next week. I'm thinking about giving my credit cards to my mom when she leaves on vacation friday so I don't have to worry about spending to much. cheesy

I do believe the leaves on the tree in my front yard is begining to get a hint of yellow and orange on the leaves!!! Then again, it could just be wishful thinking on my part.

There was one tree I was eyeing the leaves that had fallen trying to decide if they where changing color or just happened to die. Still not sure, but will keep an eye on it! cheesy

We have one tree here that is starting to get yellow leaves on it. I will take it as a sign that fall is hopefully not far away.cheesy

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I worked till almost 10:00 PM last night out of town on my side business, and it was 9:30 the night before. I appreciate the business, but I miss seeing my family. It's past the kid's bedtime. One or two more evenings, then I'll be back on schedule.

We stayed up a little late last night watching America's Got Talent. There was a 12 year old brother & sister dancing act that was very good, but the dance they chose was a sort of Latin, sexy-type of dance that seemed a little too...grown-up...for kids that age. Maybe I'm just an old fuddy-duddy, though. :lol:

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! It looks like we are going to get one more day in the 80's before the 90's return with a vengeance tomorrow. I don't have a whole lot planned for today. I need to run to the store and get some groceries and then it will be back home to do some more Christmas planning. My mom is getting ready to fly out to Seattle on Friday morning to go see my sister and her family. I have to have her at the airport by 4am so I am thinking about just staying up all night tomorrow night. I don't usually go to bed until midnight or 1am so there is really no point in going to bed if I have to get back up at 2am. I could try and go to bed earlier but I know I won't be able to go to sleep and the colts play in Toronto tomorrow night. So I think I am just going to try and wear myself out today so I sleep really good tonight. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
