Morning friends! Been up about an hour. The last few days I've been off I have been up since before 6. Why oh why? I just wish I could sleep until 8...that would be great!
 
Made, no football or nascar! What are we to do? This is the worst weekend of the year as far as I'm concerned! Now, next weekend with the Shootout and the Superbowl? That will be one of the best!!

Well, it's continued cold here in Raleigh, Coach.
It's 24 degrees currently with no sign of snow melt although it is sunny.
The weather service gave us an official total of 5" but I measure about 3" to 3 1/2" here in NW Raleigh.

Good Morning...
Crashed early last night...I could hardly keep my eyes open. It is lightly snowing here...about 19 out right now. My daughter went to stay with her cousins yesterday (about an hr. from me). I am thinking I need to get on the road to go get her before these specks of snow turn into huge flakes. Hope everyone has a nice Sunday.
 
Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

We just got back from church and I put on a pot of coffee. I bought some Krispy Kreme Bold coffee from the duoghnut sale fundraiser at school last week. It's pretty good!

My mom has decided to remodel her kitchen, but she has no carpenter. She thinks we can do it ourselves. I really an NOT a carpenter, but I'll give it a whirl, I guess.

Good Afternoon.....we got about 4 inches of snow yesterday which is surpising since they only called for a trace on the news Friday night. Would have liked more but that's ok. Winters not over yet. cheesy Will take the kids out to play in it later. Can't believe it's the last day of January already. Time is flying by all right.

Good Afternoon!

Back from church and driving the Sunday school bus.
My daughter is on the train going back to school.
Now I get to relax and watch some of my favorite shows, right now Iron chef America is on.

Made home a couple hours ago. The roads were not to bad for the most part. But there was a couple slick areas. I noticed going over a bridge someone had hit the guard rail and about a 6/7 foot piece of metal was in the road. Called 911 to report it but someone had beat me to it. The dispatcher said an officer was on the way to remove it. Sure enough 10 min. later I seen him headed in that direction. Just happy to be home safe and sound. These roads tend to get my anxiety level to sky rocket.
 
Well, we should know something about school in the next two or three hours....still real icy looking outside and starting to think it's going to be that way until tomorrow. Temp never got about 30 F...which is right around 0 C...so it's cold.

Bout to do some work just in case we have school tomorrow. See everyone later!
 
Schools closed here tomorrow...
