I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We put up our tree today and decorated some of the house. I'm going to a concert tomorrow so that should be fun

We went shopping today......man, was it crazy! That's about all I have to say about that! Probably going back tomorrow....or so I've been told by my wife.
cant believe it is only 27 days til christmas.....time is running.....and i still havent seen the coca cola christmas commerical....what is up with that

Morning friends! Coffee anyone? How about some shopping?
No coffee right now, drinking a "twist up" (might be a Walmart sold soda..). Sitting here at work..
I love it!
I never made it on here last night. We had a very fun and busy day yesterday!
We hit 3 malls. First mall we saw the ice skating show with Santa in it! There were two 2010 Olympic ice skaters there and I already forgot their names! Santa was the star for me! :mrgreen: Dorothy Hamill was there one year and Santa got more applause than her! People really scream and shout when he gets on the ice (including me)! I can't wait until next year!
I hope you all had a wonderful time if you got out yesterday!

Good Morning, Friends!
Thanksgiving Weekend has arrived as we continue through the holiday season.
Days to Christmas Day: 28 (Exactly four weeks from today!)
Wow! Fifty-two down to four. Where has the time gone?
(Getting that Christmas shopping near to completion?)
A chilly start this morning as my thermometer showed 39 degrees when I got up.
We have only improved slightly to 41 at this hour but it's clear as a (Christmas) bell with no sign of rain.
Well, we have LOTS of Thanksgiving leftovers to dispose of in one way or another.
Seems like it's always this way. You would think we would have learned by now.
No matter - it's almost as good the 2nd time around.....and the 3rd.....and the 4th......

Good morning, everyone! It is rainy here in northern California. I heard the geese flying overhead earlier this morning. I think they are heading into cities to become part of the 12 Days of Christmas Or something like that. I hope you all have a great day of tasty leftovers!

Good morning everyone.... well my god daughter welcomed in a beautiful baby boy in the early hours of Thanksgiving morning... on a sad note my dad went to the hospital on Thanksgiving with difficulty breathing. Come to find out he had a mild heart attack. They will not know what damage was done until Monday. At least he is resting comfortably and stable at the moment and the hospital is hopeful about his recoverly. Despite everything we still had a good Thanksgiving... it just really gives us new reasons to be VERY THANKFUL!
We braved the crowds yesterday and got a good amount of shopping done. Got the main Christmas Tree up last night. Getting ready to go decorate it with the family and then head outside to decorate...

Woke up to a fresh new layer of snow this morning, about five inches of it! Not a lot of fun shoveling, but it sure looks Christmas-y around here now, especially considering we put up the tree yesterday. :sparkle:
Wow! I wish we would get any amount of snow. The last time snowed here was 1989, I think! Maybe this year it will happen for us!

I know that you used to celebrate it in May but due to russian traditions we have on the last Sunday of November...so join us and wish all the best to the women that gave us our lives)))))))))
we've just finished my mum's birthday celebration..She invited lots of relatives and friends..it was great to meet people I haven't seen for couple of years..some of them came over for the first time! Hope they really enjoyed it)))))

Good Evening Everyone!!!!!! It has been a hetic day here. I stayed up late last night and put the finishing touches on my christmas tree. It looked great. Then my sister dropped off my 2 nieces this morning for me and mom to watch while she did some more shopping. They were running around the living room and my older niece tripped and fell into the tree. She broke several of my moms campbell soup ornaments and she actually managed to break some of the branches were they connect to the metal pole. So now I have a big dent in my tree. I turned it so that dented side was facing the wall but you can still see the dent when you are sitting on the couch. Oh well. I was going to get a new one anyways and thankfully my niece didn't cut her self on any of the broken glass ornaments. This evening I plan on kicking back and watching some christmas movies. I hope everyone had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
