Good Evening Everyone!!!! Is it really Sunday night already? I ended up going to the doctor yesterday and he diagnosed me with bronchitis. So he gave me some antibiotics and I came home and slept most of yesterday and today. I did wake up in time to see the Colts beat Jacksonville and keep their playoff hopes alive.cheesy My original plan was to spend the weekend making cookies but it looks like I will probably just skip them this year. I hope everyone had a GREAT WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well there.....now.....this has been quite the weekend. The shopping IS ALL DONE! We are officially unpacked, the house is cleaned and prepped, and the food has been bought! Tomorrow, I start my five days til Christmas. We will watch TV and I will cook something every night.
This week is going to be sooo much fun. Brother will be here Thursday afternoon, so we will spend the night playing Wii games as a family. I think I'm going to buy Hollywood Squares so we can all play.
Can't wait to hear the Podcast tomorrow. Hang on to your hats, everyone! This week is going to FLY by!

Hi everyone! I can't believe how close it is to Christmas. Honestly it doesn't feel like it. It's been hard to get into the Christmas spirit. There's barely any snow on the ground and I only see some Christmas movies when I go to ABC Family or the Hallmark channel.

had a lovely day yesterday. my little girl still has chicken pox, so my auntie took her for the day. i went to our local church's nativity/carol concert, it was great! then i done some last minute shopping (i'm now officially done, wooo hooo!) then i went out with some family for a meal to celebrate my cousin's birthday. it was really christmassy, lots of christmas music on and lovely decorations.
today, the weather is still icy/snowy so i'm staying in with coffee and christmas dvds.

Best place is to be indoors! I wish I didnt have to go food shopping in this though!

Wow, in only 5 days it will be Christmas! I have school for 3 days, on Tuesday is my road test. Got all the gifts bought just have to finish the wrapping. Picking up a turkey and all the trimmings later this week. Looking forward to relaxing and enjoying time with my family.

Three of my kids had chicken pox at the same time, and my husband was in Oklahoma for air traffic control school. My son's fever was so high that he started hallucinating and I had to call 911 to get him to the hospital. I had to follow (hadto stay with the other two) after my MIL got to my place (20 minutes away) before I could get to the hospital. That was one scary experience! Chicken pox is no fun for ANYONE!!!

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is quite chilly here in northern California with rain expected again. My husband just left for his next-to-last day of work with the US Forest Service. He is retiring at 56 years old with 33 1/2 years of service. He started full time right after college, so he is ready! He is going to remodel the back part of the house, doubling the kitchen and den area. I will finally get my Wolf stove! I can hardly wait. Since he is doing all the work himself, I probably won't be in the new kitchen until 2012, but I think I can handle it! I hope everyone has a great Christmassy day! Podcast, podcast, podcast!!!!!

Just finished listening to the podcast, it was great being able to put voices with screen names. Thank you Jeff for putting that together it really was special. 4 more working days to go, just hoping to be able to get through the next few without having to call out, this cold is kicking my butt. My older boy JP has a Christmas concert for school tomorrow, I am looking forward to seeing him sing with his classmates. The gifts from us to the boys are all wrapped and under the tree, just waiting for Santa to deliver the last few!!!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! We are expecting more snow tonight and a chance of freezing rain tomorrow. Then another snow storm is going to move in on Christmas eve and stick around through the weekend. So we are definitely going to have a white Christmas but traveling might be a bit difficult. The plan for today is to watch Santa Claus the movie this afternoon on AMC and then I need to run to the grocery sometime today. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, I can't believe Christmas is only 5 days away. I really hope my cold gets a lot better before then. I have so much to do in the house. At least all my Christmas shopping is done.
My 9 year-old son woke up this morning with a stiff neck. It is the first time he has had one. He is "milking" it for all it is worth, too. LOL! It should be an interesting day. I can't help but giggle at him.

I woke up this morning as excited as if I were a little kid again! It is about 34 degrees right now and it is expected to rain on Christmas Eve but maybe (big maybe) some snow flurries on Christmas Day. I am baking cookies and trying to find a good Christmas movie on. All my shopping is done except for stocking stuffers and I can't wait for more Christmas cards in the mail today! I hope all of you have a blessed and beautiful day!!
