Which station is the marathon on?

Cherylle in CA
I am so sorry that I am just now reading this. I didn't come back on here until this morning. It was on TBS. They have been airing this 24 hours marathon for many years starting on Christmas Eve through Christmas day. I think when I posted it the marathon was just about over.

My husband being silly! (Don't worry, we were stopped!!)

I love this picture! This is the way my hubby and I act. It's fun being silly all the time. Your son is like, "what are they doing"???
Jude got a snowman kit from my aunt and uncle and a snow shovel from us (he loves to talk about shoveling snow!) so I guess he'll put both to good use come tomorrow!!!!!!
I wish a snowman kit would be useful here. Some years we don't get any snow! =)
or throw a snow ball
:snowball:
or two

:snowball:This is fun!
I just want to say that I am honored to be a part of this wonderful community and feel lucky to call you all my friends.
I feel very lucky to know you and everyone here!

Good evening and Merry Christmas!

I just spent the last hour getting caught up on all the posts I have missed, I am sitting here in the glow of my Christmas tree, in the quiet. My family had the most wonderful Christmas Eve and day, we will be Christmassing again tomorrow when my father comes over. The Christmas Eve party we had last night was great, it was great to see everyone, and all the food was great. During the party I learned my Grandfather, had gone in for a quick surgery to remove some bone spurs near where his leg was amputated, and during the surgery his heart stopped, and they had to resuscitate him. He is fine now and will be coming home tomorrow, it was the first Christmas my grandparents didn't spend together in well over 60 years.
Christmas Day, in the words of my oldest son was, "the greatest Christmas ever!" It was such a special day, it just makes me remember why I love this day more than any other. My boys faces were amazing, and the hug my JP, gave me was one of the greatest hugs I have ever received. Just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes.

On this greatest day of the year, I just want to wish all of you great Christmas friends, the warmest and heartfelt Merry Christmas, and I look forward to spending the next year with all of you again.

Ron
I am so glad your grandpa is ok! I bet that was scary!

Hugs can be the best gifts!

Good Morning all!

I am surprised but this is the first time in MANY years that I don't feel a big let down on December 26th. I usually feel very sad that all the excitement has ended. Yes, I know about the 12 days of Christmas but society, in general, does not recognize it and to everyone around it's OVER! It's really hard to feel the joy because of this but I am doing good today!

I am excited that this year I have a goal of planting a nice size vegetable garden in my backyard. I eat tons of veggies so this project will be put to good use and I will get the grandchildren involved. They will love it.

I feel good today and want to THANK YOU all for being here on these forums to keep my spirits lifted! You are a great group of people here!!! cheesy

I am feeling the same way today, the let down of the big day being over always make me very sad, almost like when a close family member moves away. I am feeling excited, watching Christmas movies, all my lights and decorations lit, wearing a Christmas t-shirt, and knowing that I have MMC has really helped me this year. I don't have the post-Christmas blahs or blues for the first time in a really long time.

Good morning,

Getting ready for the big snowstorm that is to run from this morning until tomorrow afternoon, I am glad it didn't hit yesterday or Friday, but we did have a 1/2 inch on the ground so it was a mostly white Christmas for us. Also getting ready for my father and his girlfriend to come over for lunch and their Christmas visit with the boys, we usually go to their house on Christmas day, but trying this so they can spend more time, because there is so much running around on Christmas Day.

Have a very Merry 2nd day of Christmas!

ATTENTION, Wal-Mart Shoppers! We have just received word that there are only 210 posts until we reach 16,000 on Christmas Countdown. Crown has informed us that the count runs until the end of this year!! In addition, you will be able to enjoy a cup of eggnog and Christmas cookies in the Wal-Mart break room next to the Lay-Away station. Thanks for shopping at Wal-Mart!

Good Morning!

Wow! It's a winter wonderland here in Raleigh with 6" of snow on the ground.
Just missed a white Christmas but we certainly have a white day after!

The roads are fine however as the temperature dropped slowly and most of the snow on the roads melted.

Will post some photos once I get the chance but for right now, the family wants to go bargain shopping. (Priorities, you know!)

.....Crown has informed us that the count runs until the end of this year!!.....
Correct, Seawaters.
This thread will not lock down until midnight after 12-31.
Then as soon as possible, I will launch (and stickify) "Christmas Countdown 2011".
At that point we start over with a challenging goal ahead of us: to better 2010!

Is it too late to change the venue to the Shispering Pines and have Carl's coffee and fired twinkies instead???

Okay. Meet at the break room, pick up a snack for the bus ride to the Shispering Pines! The bus is equipped for in-drive movies that can be individually requested. Those who prefer to nap can dream of sugarplums and a white Christmas!!

I always say "Let it snow," too, but nothing ever happens here! Glad you have some, though!

I have sometimes felt the Christmas letdown, but I did not experience it at all this year! I know that this forum is what made this one of the best Christmases ever (as an adult)! Isn't it a great feeling?

Right there with you, xmas365! This has been a great year of complete enjoyment after Christmas, even with no snow! You hit the nail on the head when you said it was like a close family member moving away! I thought I was the only one who felt those sentiments.
