It's very late here and my hubby isn't home from work yet. I'm just stopping in to contribute to the count and wish everyone a good night. I hope Caninemom is feeling a bit better than earlier. Merry Days to all of us!

I am ready for bed, and I think it is 54 posts to reach 16,000 and 55 to go over. If you are still awake, please keep posting to Christmas Countdown so we can reach our goal. It takes All of Us working together to do it. Thanks for all you do!!

Good morning... not feeling to good today so I stayed home from work. Last night we did manage to get back down to walmart and we picked up a couple more christmas quilts for the kids beds so now next year we will all have Christmas quilts for the beds. Going to head out this weekend to see what other Christmas stuff we can get. We are slowing converting over to LED lights. I want to also start picking up more decorations for different rooms in the house like the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen. Last night we also picked up a couple teacher gifts too, a dip bowl and platter for the kids main teachers next year. If they have more left this weekend then I may pick up more as they are really cute.

I know exactly how you feel, Track. I had the same feeling for many years but in the last 10 or so, it has moderated.
I guess it's kind of a limbo. Christmas has passed and things are "supposed" to return to normal but they haven't, and won't, until after New Years.
Hey! Just watch some bowl games. That always seems to help.

COLD again with the temp here in the mid 20's and much snow still everywhere.
A gradual warming trend is predicted for the week, however, and we could be in the 50's by this weekend.

Under 4 days now until we bid farewell to this thread and begin Christmas Countdown - 2011!

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Everyone!

I mentioned before about the possibility of me moving to first shift, well I still haven't heard anything. I guess they are waiting until after the new year. It is driving me crazy though, I just wish they would tell me something. Everybody (including my supervisor) thinks I will get it because I am the most qualified, I will require very little, if any, training. I hope they are right!

Morning everyone! This year feels a bit different at Christmas. Normally I don't want to take down the tree in January (but my Wife makes me haha). But this year I'm not minding it. I guess its the build up to Christmas 2011 that I can't wait for! haha. Well its tuesday. I made it through (and you all did) another monday. Infact that was the last monday of this year! Good riddance to mondays in 2010! Well almost time for me to start work. Hope you all have a great day!

Less than 50 posts to 16,000---here's another one to help!

Hope everyone is managing the post-Christmas/pre-New Year's period. cheesy

I am looking forward to Christmas 2011, too! I am planning already and looking for gifts for my kids... found a good deal on the Little People Nativity set but not sure if I'll get it or not. I also juts bought 12 cans of organic canned pumpkin from Amazon for $10.20, like a crazy person. Gotta be prepared for next year's baking, ha!!!
