Christmas Countdown - 2010

Good morning, everyone!

I awoke today in a bit of a dilemma. Kim and I were planning to go home today at 4, but our ride no longer has room for us. Apparently, he has to drive his girlfriend's parents as they made a last minute decision to leave with him. Our only way to go home is to take the bus, which will be an overnight trip and cost about $50 more each - we're both students. Neither of us real feel up to taking the bus, especially if we have to take it back. Also, I currently have a constant headache and may possibly be getting sick. Bad luck on my part.

Really, I don't know what to do. It would be nice to go home and see family as I will not be home again until August, but all these signs are really stacking up against us going. Tough call.

With that said, have a great Wednesday, everyone! The weekend is on the downside following lunch!

My daughter sometimes has to come up with creative ways to get home too as we do not have a car of our own. (borrow a friends from time to time)

Well, I'm doing a mini-countdown of my own...just two more days to go for me, and then I get a week's break. I am so looking forward to it, too!

Spring cleaning and (hopefully, if weather permits) gardening are on my list of things to do...and also, just a lot of nothing, too! LOL ;-)

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

My father-in-law owns a local convenience store / grocery store. He sells gas and chips, but he also carries produce and has a meat market. He decided to go out of town for a couple days hunting, and asked me to open the store for him. This consists of getting there at 6am, and cooking a bunch of bacon, sausage and egg bisquits before the store opens at 7am. Now I'm at my regular job. Whew! I feel like I've already worked a full day.

I did a whole lot of spring cleaning starting out the new year. I am going through every single drawer, cabinet and closet. I got rid of so much useless stuff and it felt great!

Hope today is great... we made some soft pretzels, cupcakes for later, and are having PIZZAAAAA for dinner! Mmmm!!!

I agree track!!!!!! They are talking about 2 more snow storms coming in here over the 4 days and I just want to pack up and head south. This is defintely the most snow we have seen in central indiana in a long time.
