over 1200 posts in one month.. just incredible.... we break what we did in one year at Christmas.com ( sob...I miss that site.. and Cedar.. I MISS CEDAR)...

YABBA~

It's upposed to stay relatively warm here, I think. Oh, well. I'd like to see some snow this year!

Started out not to bad, then bands of snow began to arrive. Some schools further north of us closed, but we all went out. By noon when taking kids from one school to another, I could hardly see past the front of the bus, and that was in town.
Then roads in the country began to close.

Now temps are dropping quickly, and I am very glad to be home.
:snowball:
Looks like what we have had lately...Although, these last two days the suns been out and everything has melted off. It's so scary to drive in these types of conditions. Glad your home safe and sound!

I miss Cedar too! I was just asking about her a few days ago.

We have a World Market here but I have not been to it yet. I might have to go there this weekend.
You should check it out when you have time. They really get alot of neat things in. I've bought Christmas ornaments from there, hot sauces and next time some of this turtle coffee cheesy.

Glad you're home safely!

Morning! Right now we are at about an inch of ice...yuck! Not supposed to stop until tonight and maybe tomorrow morning. We are out of school today and that call came about 445 this morning. Now, I can't go back to sleep, so I thought there is no better place to be than here! Already had 1/2 a pot of coffee and plan on having more.

See everyone around today.

Well, so school is off....thought since I was drinking coffee...I would watch some Christmas movies on DVR.

Guess what?

My wife thought I had watched all of them so they should be deleted (as you read that I could hear you thinking "She did what?").

Yikes, so sorry to hear that coach. That would be a disaster of epic proportion around here.

SHE DID WHAT?!? cheesy

Ooooh, Nancy would pay a terrible price for that. I'd cook dinner for 3 days straight. That'd teach her!

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's starting to get overcast here, but it's still getting up inthe mid-60's. Tomorrow is 100% chance of rain, low 50's. Why can't it rain during the workday, and be nice on the weekends? :-?

So far, it's been a quiet morning (well, after the daily storm of getting the kids ready for school, that is). Maybe it'll be an easy day!

Have a great day, everyone! cheesy

Good luck with the snow all my southern friends! We are pulling for ice vs snow here....6 inches or more if too much ice doesn't mix in.

Good Morning, my shivery and icy Friends!

Yes, it's cold and supposed to get colder...and icy'er...and sleetier...and snowy'er. It could get down to 15 degrees over the weekend!
Predictions range from 1" to 7" of snow depending on what "computer model" the various weather services are using. (Hey! What do computers know about snow, anyway. They are always inside where it's warm.)
We currently stand at 37, where the skies (for the moment!) are sunny with no indication of precip. All that will change by this afternoon.

" T'was the Eve of the Weekend and all 'cross the board,
Everybody was wondering what supplies they should hoard.
The Crownster was nestled all snug in their bed,
While visions of coffeebeans danced in Bing's head.

All the members were searching the clouds for snow signs,
And.....I'll leave it to Auntie to write the next lines".

That's right. It's Friday again, Folks.
Time for our cusp-of-the-weekend count:
Days to the Season: 288
Days to Christmas Day:330
Under 2 weeks now to the 1/4 Season Milestone, Guys!

Have a Fabulous Friday, Everybody.
And may your Weekend get off to a safe and not too slippery start this afternoon!

We're looking forward to a weekend by the fireplace. We are expecting 8-12" of snow Friday night and Saturday and our county is out of money so there will be very little road clearing. We live 14 miles from the nearest town but I would not change a thing. Hopefully we don't lose power. cheesy

Good Morning all!

According to Bizarre Holiday website:

January 29 is . . . . National Cornchip Day.

Frito Pies anyone?

Morning Friends...
Popping in with a quick hello to everyone. Getting ready to head out of town for awhile. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Looks like we may get some snow our way this weekend. :snowball:
