Christmas Countdown - 2010

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

The snow this weekend was SUPER! We played till almost 11:00pm, made some snowmen, threw snowballs, made snow angels...lots of fun! My daughter got up at daylight the next morning, ready to play some more, so the two of us made another snowman and played. LOL!

Yesterday afternoon, our family and my cousin's family went to the movies. They all went to see The Tooth Fairy for the kids. I went to see The Wolfman. It was great!

Good morning everyone. Kids have no school today and I am off from work. Think I will clean out the bathroom closets and then sit down and watch some christmas movies with the kids. They are asking to watch Santa Claus and Mickeys Twice upon a Christmas. Think I'll make some popcorn and hot cocoa too to enjoy while watching them.

And so we pass under 2 weeks to the the 300-day Christmas Day window, as we move inexorably closer to Christmas.

Again cold, where we are at 35 for the 2nd straight day.
Muted clouds overhead along with a 60% chance of rain predicted for this afternoon.
I am quite ready for Spring!

Wow only 13 days until we reach the 300 day mark!!!!!!! It is snowing here in central indy today. We have 3 inches on the ground and it looks like we will get at least 2 more. I went out and shoveled the sidewalk off once about 30 minutes ago but you can hardly tell now. The rest of today will be spent trying to keep everything cleaned off and cleaning the kitchen. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I showed great restraint by not sharing a link to an old Pepe Le Pew and Fifi episode that sort of made me think he had her in bondage. :cry:


My sweet Valentine made Turkey dinner for me and it was delicious. We didn't have any turnip puff or sweet potato pie, but we had turkey, stuffing, potatoes, corn and gravy. He had cranberries. Yummmmy!

Off today for Family Day (Provincial holiday) that helps take the blahs out of the month of February.

The folks just got back from a couple of weeks in Florida so we're heading over in a few minutes to visit and hear all about their trip.

I FINALLY got the rest of the Christmas decorations put away today, went outside (and froze) and got the last of the lights off the house and the last two window candles put away. It is amazing how hard it is to find the time to get everything down. We are done now, maybe an odd snowman here or there but that is it. Only 9 months til I bring it upstairs again though. I hope everyone had a good Valentine's day, we were simple and laid back, made it more for the kids to enjoy.

Quitting time for the day-job, now off to my side business.

All work and no play makes Brad a dull boy. Gonna have to do something about that one day.

I just love getting on here and seeing people come back and check in! So cool!

Good day today.....one more closer to Christmas....and I was reminded of life's little blessings throughout the day. My friends....I truly live the good life. I was reading the news and see all the craziness that is taking place...and I'm surrounded by kids who I cherish....a wife that I adore...and friends and family that make me smile...
