Thanks! They were not sure what was wrong with him. He was crying in pain but then started feeling better and all blood work came back ok. They sent him home and said to keep an eye on him and if he gets worse bring him back.

Hope he is ok.. how scary!

Well....long hard day over....started bright and early and ended about 30 minutes ago when I got home. Tomorrow will start at 7 and work will end around 8 or 9.....then i plan on coming home, catching up on the board, listening to James Taylor, and drinking some coffee....MAN I CAN'T WAIT!

By the way, I came close to being misdiagnosed as a child when ADD was a relatively new concern. My parents refused to put me on meds and took me to Sick Kids in T.O. for a second opinion. As it turned out, I was suffering from tinnitus and that was causing my distractions - there was a hydro station right next to the school yard so you can imagine how hard it was to concentrate. Once I hit Junior High, it was full concentration and good grades. I thanked my parents when I was in College for refusing to medicate me and getting that second opinion which involved several different tests.

I often think about a boy named Randy that was in my class, the teachers were irritated by him on a daily basis and I often wondered if he had ADHD. I always felt bad for him on the way they'd lose their cool at times with him. He was the first "stray friend" I brought home for lunch because I wanted him to feel good about himself and he didn't seem to have any friends.

Good day and Happy Saturday to you all!

The 'free time' has begun for myself...although, I'm not so sure I should really call it that...haha...
Worked in the front garden (finally!) today, pruning and weeding and sweeping leaves (what I should have gotten done in the Fall but due to weather conditions and/or being sick, I never got around to it)...
It was partly sunny when I woke up, so I decided to get out there and get busy...
I was about 3/4 of the way finished when the sky grew very dark...and wouldn't you know it, it started snowing!:busy:
LOL!! Thankfully, it didn't last long and I could get the huge mountain of leaves picked/swept up and into the compost container...
Crazy weather, I tell ya! :

After all that, I came inside and started Spring cleaning my 3rd floor/attic. My washer/dryer is there, so they both got a cleaning - inside and out. Re-organized a big closet up there, too, and dusted/vacuumed/washed everything else.

Now to tackle that mountain of laundry!! :-? hehe...

Other than that, I am done for the day! I wish you all a wonderful weekend!

As you can see (unless you are in a coffee stupor, that is) we will be down to one week to the 300-day Christmas Day mark tomorrow!
Hard to believe.

Sunny and calm again with our temp standing at a nicer 42 degrees after another start in the 30's.
We are supposed to reach the 50's by this afternoon and the low 60's tomorrow!
(I can get some yard work done at my father's place!)

Very interesting weather! Are you sure you're not in Texas? cheesy I remember back nearly 20 years ago in March I went outside to lay in the sun and got a sunburn (I don't do that anymore! Lol) and then went to an outdoor birthday party, everyone wearing shorts including myself. That night the temps dropped and we got a lot of snow, enough to close the schools down the next day!

It sounds like you and I are working together to organize. I have been slowly working on that since January 1st. The house is clean but I just have accumulated too much "stuff" in closets, drawers and cabinets. I don't have much more to go and got rid of a lot!

Weekend plans.....gotta be at an event tonight and all day tomorrow...Sunday....I will be worthless! Do a little work and alot of resting. Been a long week. Very tired....

Good Morning....well hubby and I decided we are going to plant a garden this year and section off the area behind our garage for it. I want to learn how to can so we do not waste what we grow. Last spring we had several trees removed from our yard - these were hugh and very TALL pine trees that were dying. Well the area along the back fence in the area where the pines were is really coming to life. We notice at the end of last summer that we had a boisenberry tree there so we are hoping that it produces nicely this year. Going to be an interesting year.

How wonderful that you're going to plant a garden! I'm planning on taking a small section of my back garden to put in some herbs, and maybe a potted tomato plant. Hubby said he'd help me build a sort of fence around it so my cat won't use it as a litter box. LOL

10:40 am....sunny with a few clouds and lightly snowing. It was kind of like this yesterday too. One minute a few flurries the next minute nothing. Hurry up Spring...I'm ready to plant some flowers!!!
