Hi y'all...
For the 4th year in a row I find myself in Nevada on St. Patrick's Day...this year and last here in Vegas and previous to that in Reno. Go figure. I've spent a lot of time catching up on this thread tonight. Sheesh, there's a lot of life going on. Been having a bit of challenge myself with things of late, mostly having traveled each week except one since Christmas. Hopefully, with Easter soon past us maybe we can slow down a little. Just stopping in to say "hi"...

Going to be close to 18c today! Wow, that is incredible for this time of the year.
The migrating swans are in the Pinery (a provincial park on the shores of lake Huron) so we may head down that way to see them.

Travelling for work so much is tough, especially with a family back home. Hope things settle down a little for you soon.

My side business is in advertising, and a local church is sponsoring a bass fishing tournament next weekend...and I'll be out of town. :-? I can do the work, but Jacob and I can't enter the tournament. Oh well. Maybe next time!

Morning (Depends where you are haha). Everyone. William FINALLY slept through the night. He isn't feeling well. Hopefully he feels better because he is turning 1 on Saturday and the family is coming down! Have a great day everyone! Almost the weekend!!!
Ouch! I usually do that if I am in a hurry in the kitchen. Hope it feels better today.
That seems to be me every time we spring forward. It takes me over a week to adjust to it. This year I managed to adjust to it on the first day. Luckily Saturday day night I went to sleep extra early and did that for the next several days after. I am on track already. I hope you get caught up on your rest!

I made green eggs yesterday. That green coffee would have been great with it! I am still laughing that my grandchildren thought the eggs tasted better than usual. It was just a different color, not taste! Lol.

I hope he continues to improve. I panic every time a little one gets sick. They can seem soooo sick one day and I tend to think the absolute worse then the next day they run around like nothing is wrong.

Good Morning all!
Yesterday was a great day! I had my grandchildren over while my daughter was in school. We had lots of fun. We started off with green eggs for breakfast, which they LOVED! Then made some St. Patrick's Day projects. Then my son and I made my grandsons garages for their cars with empty boxes. We made it 3 story's with ramps. They thought that was cool. My granddaughter is only 7 months old so too young for homemade toys. I can't wait until she is older to start making doll houses. She just enjoyed watching us make the toys. It was so beautiful outside we played outdoors for awhile.
My daughter came home from school with awards for perfect attendance, deans list and straight A's. She starts her externship next week. I am proud that she managed to accomplish all this raising 3 little ones. Her husband, my mom and I have helped with the kids so she could follow her dream in the medical field. I didn't do anything like this with my life so I am happy for her.
Made, I hope mom gets better.

Another busy day here. It's "gloomy" outside today. The high for today only 47. What a change it is from the blue skies and 66 out we had yesterday. I hope you all have a good day! The weekend is quickly approaching us!cheesy

Good morning, everyone!!
I hope everyone had a more eventful St. Patrick's Day than me. I woke up early for practice and then worked in the library for six hours on an essay. Things need to get done! A lot of my friends went out to celebrate - they are students, after all - but I just stayed in to be ready for work this morning.
Yesterday was absolutely beautiful! The temperature reached 15.7C, which was record high for March 17th! Although I did not wear shorts, I was very comfortable in my t-shirt. What a beautiful, early Spring. The forecast is calling for rain this weekend and then possible snow next week. I knew that would happen. I don't mind as long as it doesn't last long! Temperatures will remain in double digits until Tuesday, though, which is quite nice.
Not much work to do today, just plenty of messages to return and organization for upcoming tournaments and practices. Have a great Thursday, everyone!! The weekend is almost here!

It is going to be almost 70 here today. That is 15 degrees above the average for this time of year. I am not getting to excitied though because they are calling for snow sunday night into monday. :-?
