Welcome back, track!

So apparently this house we LOVE has 2 other offers - and the offers are going straight to the bank because the owners are facing foreclosure (and I guess dealing with banks can be a REAL PAIN!!!!!) Anyway, the price is so low that I think we'll offer 10k over the asking price and hope the bank chooses us. I am praying and praying!!! This house really really is just what we are looking for... I hope we can get it!!!

Yo Christmas friends....trackrebel is back.....our phone-line post was destroyed by a storm we had a few weeks ago and it was repaired last Sunday....that´s why I couldn´t really be online. Hope all is fine and everyone is doing alright.

Hey guys!
Checkin in...had a good day yesterday but this morning I was feeling lousy again! Went to work came home rested for awhile and feeling better now. Must have a touch of the flu or something, headache, achy, tired. Ugh! Forgot to mention yesterday that on Monday they had the tryouts for the school play and my daughter got a part! She is at rehearsal for another 15 minutes and then I will buzz and get her. I will go and watch the play on Friday (prayin to God I am feeling much better by then). In the meantime our weather is warming up and I am itchin' to do some yard work!

Forgot to mention yesterday that on Monday they had the tryouts for the school play and my daughter got a part! She is at rehearsal for another 15 minutes and then I will buzz and get her. I will go and watch the play on Friday (prayin to God I am feeling much better by then).

I'm here, I'm here!!! Mickey sends his regards! The Mrs. and I can't seem to get away from that joint without a shopping bag full of new Christmas ornaments...And the streak continues! It was great fun, a nice break and a welcome vacation...I signed on to find I was 3350 posts behind in my reading...I'm afraid I may just have to start fresh from here and hope that no one directed a question my way...3350 posts would take me three days to read...I MUST be better at signing in at least daily...Oh well...Glad to see the countdown is lower and the holiday closer than when I was here last! And VERY glad to see all of you!

Good afternoon my Christmas friends. Its a nice day here in sunny Maryland..in the low 60's. This is my last week of working full time. I will start having off on Wednesdays. Im very excited I get to spend an extra day with my wonderful kids cheesy. Have a great day everyone!

Just a bit of advice...same situation happened to me a few years back...when the house hit the market, there were 3 offers right away...ours was the asking price....but the bank said since there was so much interest in the house, they wanted everyone to make one final offer. Well, we went over the asking price by about 20,000 (because it was such a great deal) only to have someone go 40,000 over the asking price. So, if you really want it, make sure you give exactly what you can afford.

Friends, it was a joyous day! Got alot done outside and while I was out, my wife surprised me with cooking my favorite supper. I had no idea until about 6 when she come out and said suppers ready. After telling her I will be in when it's dark, she got a look on her face like "you better get inside this house and eat before I hit you in the head with that rake". I did! Boy, was I surprised. She is the most greatest (which means there ain't none better!)

As many of you know, I have been blessed with a special needs son. It is difficult to get him out and involved in things, so I was very happy when he decided to join the YMCA. He now goes several time a week to work out in the exercise room and enjoy the steam room.

Today when he went he was robbed. He locked his things in a locker but someone broke the lock, took his pants and put them in another locker after emptying his wallet of cash and a 1984 Stratford silver dollar.(the $ is of no value, it was just something he like to carry with him and show off to people) The cash was only $16 but it was for his meds and a bit of spending money for the week.

Pretty sad when someone feels the need to steal from a special needs person who already has a very small income.
I hope this will not stop him from going again. Often something that scares him or stresses him out makes him never go back to that place again.

Christmasstar, I am sorry to hear this. I feel for your son, what a terrible thing this is to have happened to him. Some people are so cruel and have absolutely no morals, values or a conscious for that matter. It breaks my heart to hear this. It also made me think about the time when my parents lived in another state and my dad's partners daughter had saved a few canadian dollars (the coins) from a recent trip or something anyhow she was so proud of these coins and like your son loved to show them to everyone. Anyhow someone I believe at her school stole them. She was sooo sad. Her dad had mentioned this to my dad and he called me a few days later to see if I could replace them for her. I used to live near the Canadian border and went to Canada alot to have dinner, go to the movies etc. Anyhow, I got a few new ones packaged them up and sent them to my dad to give them to her. She was thrilled to say the least. Do you have any idea who did this to your son?

HA HA I can so relate. I just recently purchased and got in the mail today Christmas Jars Reunion and I got my daughter Penny's Christmas Jar Miracle. I can't wait to get started reading. Have you read the first book Christmas Jars by Jason Wright? If not I highly recommend it to everyone you won't be disappointed!!!
