Christmas Countdown - 2010

Hi everybody, I am up late tonight, be paying for it in the morning. Well today (or yesterday at this point) we moved our 2 y/o out of his crib and into his own room with a toddler bed, he and his brother were sharing a room, but we felt it was time to separate them because they kept waking each other up. I hope this is going to work out well, the little guy has always shared a room. That was the news of the day from me. GO BRUINS!

I woke up last night around 2 am with a cramp in my calf, ouch...still aches this morning.

Well, at the risk of triggering another "shut up", GOOD MORNING!

Actually, it is a rather wet morning here in Raleigh.
We had rain overnight and it looks like more might start falling shortly.
We currently stand at 59 degrees where we have been holding for quite some time now.
It is supposed to reach 67 by this afternoon, then we will be back into the 70's again for the forseeable future.

Speaking of the future, just how far is it to Christmas Season 2010?
Well:
Days to the Season: 206
Days to Christmas Day: 248
And so we pass under a week until both of our next 2 milestones, the 1/3 mark to Christmas Day and the 200-day Season window.

It's the peak-of-the-week, guys, and the view from the summit to the weekend is great, especially from the observation deck at the Shispering Pines!
Carl, Holiday and I will await all comers with the usual refreshments.

With all that whining about yesterday, I FEEL GREAT THIS MORNING! The kids will be here soon and it will be a good day. cheesy

Here is what I said yesterday and meant it. THEN around 2:00 my back started aching and about 4:00 I went to open a window and pulled my back out so back I can hardly get around. :-? Thank goodness the kids were already picked up by then. All I did was open a window! Lol! It still hurts this morning but the kids will not be here today so I am going rest and get it back in shape.

I plan to have a GREAT day no matter what! :???:Hopefully I will be able to jump like this.

These days are going fast! The week is going to past by even faster and before we know it, we'll be looking ahead to the May milestones! Wow... I don't know how it's done, but I like it! I was in the library for much of the day yesterday. I'm about 1/4 into my 20-25 page paper. Tomorrow will be a big day. I have it off from work, so I'm hoping to be at about 12 pages by the time practice rolls around at 5 PM. Then, I will have Thursday morning, Friday and most of Saturday and Sunday to finish and edit. Hard to believe I'll be done my undergrad after this!

Well I think we got moms insurance all taken care of. She has had problems with them before so it didn't come as any big surprise that they were giving her trouble this time. It was a beautiful day here. We had a high in the mid 60's and it was sunny all day. They are saying that rain will be moving in tomorrow.

I am glad that all got worked out for her!

Only 5 and 1/2 days until mom gets her cast off. I am going to spend today getting some paperwork for work in order. As long as every thing is okay when they take moms cast off I should be able to start working again next week. That will give we 3 weeks left in this cycle to get everything done. That should be plenty of time. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys! Hope you all had a great day. Been great weather here and I can't wait for this weekend. We are almost there!!

Going to be on the boards for a while, then the wife and I plan on watching TAPS....she loves that show. By the way, I feel the need to clarify after my post this morning that my wife is a sweetheart, she just hates the morning.

Good evening MMC-land, just the checking in for the night, just finished watching the Boston Bruins beat the Buffalo Sabres in double OT, great finish, so I am still pumped from the game. Hockey playoffs just cannot be touched by any other. Well my little guy seems to like his new room he actually slept in until 7:30 this morning, for him that is late, he fell out of his bed once but he was fine. We have been busy planning my older boy's 5th birthday party which is Sunday, what a stressful experience this has been, inviting kids that are not family for the first time and hoping most will come, and hoping the weather will turn out well also. His actual b-day was last week, and we got him his first bike which he LOVES. Good night MMC!
