Just giving an update on my boy, he has had a rough night thus far, he cannot keep anything down, the Dr. feels it is an adverse effect from the pain killer they put him on, and leftover side effects from the anesthetic. Needless to say we are worried about dehydration, and we were told if he throws up in the middle of the night we are to bring him to the ER. I broke down and cried earlier because I cannot stand to see him like this. My wife is sleeping on his room on an air mattress to keep an eye/ear on him through the night.

xmas, I'm so sorry to hear about your son being sick. It's heartbreaking for us dads because we usually feel helpless, and the sick kids are usually more comforted by mom. I know when mine are sick or hurt, they want mama. I hope the little feller feels better soon. I'll say a prayer right now.

unfortunately...Kandice is sick again, and nobody knows what it is....she has fever attacks with terrible headaches.....we´ve been at the doctor´s today and he will take blookd tomorrow morning....he checked urine already and all is fine there...he said it could even be Pfeiffer´s disease...which is rare for little children, but it happens....we´ll know more when the blood is examined

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Tuesday. Today is my Brother's 24th Birthday! I am planning my Christmas in July dinner (which will be July 25th) and making my list of food items I need to buy. I am off of work tomorrow and cant wait to spend it with my Boys. Have a nice afternoon/evening friends!

Finally found some time to get on here for awhile.
Found this mug and plate this morning and will be saving this to enjoy on Christmas eve.

Working hard on the cake for Saturday...I have red hands right now, very Christmasy. (from coloring the fondant for the Queen of Hearts)
Nice to have a bit of a break, especially here!

I had to look that one up as I have never heard of it. But did find out it is what my daughter had when she was 16, our Doc just referred to it as mono. My daughter is fine and your little one will be too.
Saying a prayer for her. (a sick child is sometimes harder on the parent than the child, so make sure to take care of yourself too! )

I will be watching Deadliest Catch too. Be sure to have plenty of tissue, it's going to be a sad one. I have been in tears the last couple of episodes. :sad:

JP is doing very well today, a pretty quiet rest of last night for him. He is eating well, but afraid to drink anything though. He is resting a lot, and very quiet, not talking much, resting his throat. I thank all of you for the kind words and prayers I truly appreciate them all. My 2 y/o is acting up because he wants all the attention, and doing anything to get it. Got to love that sibling rivalry.

And perhaps a little nap? cheesy I know what you mean - I get up at 4:00am on the week days - and on the weekends I may be able to sleep in until 6:00am! Most times - its earlier :-?. Oh well...it just gives me more time during the day to do things!
