I don't buy alot from them but I buy some from QVC. They use to have a nascar show every friday night and I would order some of the diecast cars. I also ordered some christmas decortaions from them last year during christmas in july.
I use to love watching the Nascar show on Friday nights. They usually have a guest race car driver on there. Do they still do that?
I think someone broke an ornament on HSN. Lol. They are selling pretty glass ornaments and I heard a crash while they were talking. Oops!
I'm wondering if you are from southern Ontario - because it was sure hot in Toronto today! Ya...the heat and humidity would not be good for your cake...and it does absolutly nothing for my hair! cheesy

Well - the hubby has gone for the evening. Friends of his from Cape Breton (Nova Scotia) are up - so he has gone visiting. I couldn't go because of work tomorrow. So...its just me and my "little" Mercedes (my Roddi) tonight!
It was just so hot and humid today. When I went outside on my lunch break - it was like I walked into a wall of water (way too much humidity)! Ya...it got me "dreaming of a white Christmas"!

Yes I am. I often take bus loads into Toronto, but am really glad I do not have to do that this summer. cheesy
Good evening, my Christmas Family !!
A sort of blah day today. As I am a transcriptionist who works at home, the day started out okay but then about 3 hours into it, I ran out of work. Not a good thing as I get paid by the line. I wound up having to wait for an hour and then the work started coming again. I watched some of HSN Christmas in July today and am probably going to turn it on until it is finished this evening. The ornament premiere on Saturday was just wonderful !!! (I can't remember if I already wrote about that - ah the 60s :-?) I can't WAIT until the next ornament debut which is in October, 87 days from now !!
I hope all here are well and have had a good week so far and a wonderful day.

Well, the wife and I celebrated our anniversary today. So much has changed in my life in the past 5 years that it is crazy...and all of it is for the good...but the three biggest changes are....
1. Change of job
2. Finding this site
3. Getting married to best woman I've ever known.
The mark you leave on this earth isn't how much you make or the car you drive, it's the impact that you have on others. It's just that simple. If that's the case, the impact my wife has on me...by showing me how to love and be a kind person....is beyond words.
Thank God for my wife....and thank God I found all of you!

I figured with that much glass around it was bound to happen. They kept showing them hanging from the curtain rod and I was just waiting for it to give out and all of them come crashing down.
They canceled it this year. The company that makes all of the cars has been having some money problems with the economy the way it is and I think that made QVC decide not to have it on anymore. :-?

Well after a long day of watching christmas in july on HSN I am really in the christmas spirit. I can't wait for QVC's next weekend. Right now though I need to get to bed. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
