Well I had planned on getting back on here earlier this evening and catching up on everything that I have missed the last couple of days but I fell asleep. After me and mom had dinner I stretched out on the sofa and fell asleep. I just woke up about 30 minutes ago. Usually mom would yell at me to wake up but she was sleeping in the recliner. So now I will have to try and catch up tomorrow.

Pretty good day today, the boys portraits came out beautiful. Work was extremely busy tonight. We also decided to go to Lake George, NY in a few weeks for a quick weekend get away, a week after we go stay with friends in the Berkshires for a weekend. So it is going to be a busy August for us, because we also got free tickets to Six Flags New England, so we will probably do that next weekend.

Good evening, Christmas friends!

Well...it was a very odd day. Not to get into any details - the day started out rough. This "ChristmasHeart" sure has the Christmas spirit and lots of love, perkiness, joy and lots of tendernous - but it can also be hurt...very easily. I had myself a cry this morning - and a little more this afternoon. Some people can be hurtful with words. I'm feeling a little better now...but my heart still feels a little sad.

On a happier note...my husband picked me up from the train station after work - for me to find that he was listening to my Christmas CD in the car!!! HA! I think I'm rubbing off on him! :grin:

Well...my jammies are already on - and I'm ready to rest for the evening!

Might get a bit of rain this evening but the predicted highs for the most part show below 90 in the long range forecast so I'm happy.

Thank you so much, Christmas-A-Holic! Today is a brand new day and yes...I am feeling better. I cannot tell you just how happy I was that my husband had the Christmas music playing! He said that he was enjoying it yesterday. He described all the wonderful Christmassy things he was thinking about while listening to the music - and I exclaimed "YES!!! That's exactly how I think and what I picture in my minds eye all year long"!!! My husband said, "Ya...I know you do - and that's one of the many reasons why I love you". :rudolph:

Good Saturday Morning, Christmas friends!

HA! Mercedes (my furchild) woke me up at 5am with love and affection - and showing me her "love ears". Oh..."love ears" is a very special way she holds her ears when she is feeling lots of love. They look like little cups facing forward (its difficult to explain). So - I gave her lots of cuddles and got up thinking she had to be let out. First - I made a "pit stop" and by the time I came out...she had gone back to bed and was sleeping! The little stinker cheesy!

So...I figured that I would get a nice head-start on this wonderful long weekend!

I actually don't have much planned except for cleaning and some laundry. Oh...exciting, eh? cheesy

I know what you mean by that! With my dog he "smiles" at me, as I call it. He is so cheerful and snuggles against me with his tongue hanging out, tail wagging and just looking at me so happy! I tell him I love his smile! cheesy

Our furchildren sure know how to let us kow how they feel, eh? That is sooooo cute about your dog! I'm smiling just thinking about that now cheesy. I always tell Mercedes, "Mama loves the baby!" and I give her lots of hugs and snuggles and affection! She just loves that!

Sometimes - in the middle of the night Mercedes will jump on the bed - all happy and affectionate and loving (don't know why she'll do this in the middle of the night - but maybe she had a happy dream?!), and all I can see in the dark is her silouette...her "love ears" prominently displayed! Nope...cannot get upset with that! I will giggle and get her to snuggle in with me.

She is my baby girl!!!

I'm home in Atlanta visiting my parents, and I must say, its just as hot here lol! I'm online searching for something fun for us to do today, I think a drive in movie sounds good.
