Xmas365, I never slept well when my kids were sick. I would sleep nearby to keep an eye on them. Especially when my son was having asthma attacks. I was up all night watching his breathing. Even now that he is an adult I still get up all night checking on him if he suffers from attacks. He also has a heart condition which makes me worry even more! My friend lost her 27 year old son to asthma last year so you never can be too cautious.

We did get news on my granddaughter. She has a throat infection. I am surprised because she was drinking just fine without any pain! I am glad that she is getting some antibiotics so she can hurry up and get better!

I am so glad they know what is the problem with your granddaughther. I hope she feels better soon !!! xo

Hello everyone! I am done with my first week of classes! I LOVE my classes and its going to be a fun semester! (Not necessarily the class work but the class sessions themselves. lol)

I put the Fall stuff up last weekend. These next couple of days are really going to feel like Fall since it'll only be in the 70s. My brother is playing freshman football. They played 2 games already and won both! Woot Woot!

Oh...and a long weekend at that! Monday is Labour Day! I think I read someone else's post that those in the U.S. have a long weekend this weekend too???

I was in bed and asleep by 9:30 last night. I was soooooooo incredibly tired! I actually woke up ten minutes before the alarm went off (which was 3:40am). I thought that I might as well get up.

Anyone have special plans for this weekend?

I'm starting to plan and do my Autumn clean...which is really the things I need to do and clean before our Christmas Tree and decorations go up...in 57 days!!!

Hi-ho...hi-ho...its off to work I go! Naaaaah...not all that excited - just getting in the mind-set, "I think...therefore I am" cheesy

I am glad they found what it was and she is being treated for it. It's just so awful when our little ones are ill. Keep us posted on her progress of recovery. I have a 27 year old son also. I also have a 17 year old son and 4 year old daughter and a 7 year old granddaughter. No matter how old any of them are, they are still my babies. And momma never stops worrying and caring. ((HUGS)).

Well...my hubby picked me up from the train station and on the way home he started playing the Christmas CD we have in the car! Oh...he knows how to tug at my heart strings!

We were both singing along and then I let my imagination drift as we drove through our neighbourhood to our home. Thoughts of falling snow and Christmas lights and decorations on everyone's home filled my mind. I told my hubby what I was imagining, and he said "Awwww...you went to your happy place" :rudolph:

My wish for you tonight is that you too...have a happy place to go to - and that your evening is merry and bright!!!

Good morning Christmas Family ! Nothing really big planned today. I am planning on getting out my indoor Halloween / Fall stuff and putting it out. I don't have a 3 day weekend but that's okay and I get a teeny little extra for working on a Holiday. Perhaps 3/4 of a cent I think !

Well looks like Hurricane Earl isn't packing a category 4 wallop. Seems thru the night he was downgraded to a category 2. Doesnt look like we will be seeing a whole lot of it here in NJ. But to my friends and family in its path I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's a long weekend for some of us, Labor Day on Monday. Bird hunting season starts tomorrow!!!! I wait all year for bird season to start! The wait is over!!!

In other news, I made Jacob cut the grass for the first time yesterday. He didn't exactly do it the way I like it done, but it's a start. Nancy was taking pictures...LOL!

I miss you guys! I havent been gone that long but if I cant get on here everyday that is long enough away :-?. Anyways Im glad its Friday and a long weekend of course! We are leaving work at 1:00 today so I hope to be able to catch up on all the posts I have missed most of this week.

Anyone have any fun labor day cookouts or anything exciting going on this weekend? The weather is suppose to be around 80 tomorrow and Sunday which will be a nice relieve to this 90-95 degree heat again. Its September .. Fall cant come soon enough!!!!!!

There is a chill in the air this morning!!!! I cannot believe it. I did not have to turn on the central air all day yesterday and looks like it will be off again today. The high will be 88 but with north winds and clouds will keep it nice outside.

I have a few fall decorations out already and may bring some more out today.

I am anxious to call my daughter to see how my granddaughter is doing. She is off work today so probably sleeping in. I will call her in a little bit. I sure hope she is feeling better!
