You know somethin'?...My Tim Horton's coffee tasted like Christmas this morning.
I guess between the cool morning...the freshness in the air...the scent of fall...and the yumminess of my coffee - that's how I felt.
What a comforting feeling.

Congratulations on 10,000, Made and everyone else who has contributed throughout the year. Quite an accomplishment to hit five-figures for the first time in countdown thread history! Hard to believe that there is still more than three months to go! How much further are we than last years pace? I do not think I can answer that question anymore - last year's pace was gone so long ago!!

Good Morining to all my new friends. Today just planning to clean the house and organize my fall stuff. Just with its was in the mid 70's not high 80's today.

It's chilly this morning but going up to 78. Nice day! Jude (my 2.5 year old) came down with a fever suddenly last night. He didn't seem bothered by it, just very tired and kind of out of it. He still had a slight fever this morning so I guess my hopes to take my new double stroller out and about today are dashed... we'll be staying in and taking it easy. Not to mention, both boys were up at 5 am today! Ahhhh! Coffee!

I have created a Christmas monster... I have all of the Christmas specials and some Christmas episodes of shows we like saved on our DVR from last year. Now all Jude wants to do is watch the Curious George Christmas episode over and over! I love Christmas but there's only so much Curious George a gal can take, lol! 
Jude has decided, however, where our tree will go and talks about the lights and ornaments often. So sweet!

hehehe, Jude sounds allot like me. We have a DVR and a TIVO, and the tivo just has Xmas shows saved on an the wife is always teasing me about.
5am!! Ahhh...the joys of parenthood, LOL. Kayla (4 year old daughter) is up everyday before 6am. Weekends, holidays, it doesnt matter. She has her own little internal clock I guess. Its great on school days that she gets up without a problem, but on weekends I would love to sleep at least til 7 or 8am. That doesn't happen often. Hubby and I take turns on weekends getting up with her so one of us gets to sleep in for a couple of hours. I hope Jude feels better and shakes that fever. This high fever thing with kids seems to be going all around this year. Maybe tomorrow you will be able to take that new stroller out. I hope baby Noel is doing ok. I know he is growing big and strong with each passing day.
I feel your pain! "Sleeping in" at our house is 6:30 am, ha!

Tamara, I had predicted the same that Made will get it! cheesy If you noticed, I told him he had to stay on here and wouldn't let him leave. Lol. He tried to go with only 10 more post to go and watch football. I told him he could not leave yet! He stayed and got the 10,000!
I am just waking up and getting coffee. It looks like I get a vacation this week. The kids will probably not be over this week unless their dad gets called in. He works for a moving company and it's a little slow right now.
We need more people in our Countdown. You never know, maybe we hit 20,000? Ha ha! That would be a lot of work!

Yesterday I had a gut feeling it would have been him too, LOL. I am glad you convinced him to stay on. I wanted to sign on when I got home from work but the evening slipped away from me. And, I am a football fan too, and I didn't want to miss last nights double header!!
No kids this week? Wow! What will you do with your time? I guess you can start getting ready for Christmas, even though you just put out the fall decorations, lol. Or...maybe you can use some of the free time to post on the board to get us to 20,000!!! LOL!!! Wouldnt that be something!! cheesy

Good morning and Congrats on hitting 10,000! Wow we are on the roll this year! I cant believe tomorrow is 100 days! Time is moving along just lovely.
Today is my 3 year wedding anniversary! We went out to dinner over the weekend. My Hubby bought me a yankee candle "be thankful" (smells like a thanksgiving kitchen) my favorite! Also a pair of hoop white gold earrings, a Hallmark ornament (a little sleigh bell with a snowman and my name on it) oh and a pumpkie pie yayay! He knows the way to my heart.
Have a wonderful Tuesday! I am off of work tomorrow and will be doing some Christmas shopping and spending the day with my Boys.

Wow!! Ten Thousand and counting and we are not even half way through with September yet.
Back in 2004 when the idea of a Season count was launched at Christmas.com, we only got 1,217 posts for the year and I thought that was good.
Since then......well, it's just been WOW!
Speaking of numbers:
Days to the Season: 60
Days to Christmas Day: 102
The day after tomorrow, guys -- the 100 day window to Christmas 2010.
(And that's another reason to "wow!")
Sunny, calm and a crisp 67 degrees here at this hour.
The weather service says a zero percent chance of rain today, tomorrow and Thursday.
Normally, I would be happy but it is so dry here the grass is starting to crunch underfoot. And that's TOO dry!
Have a Terrific Tuesday, Everybody.
Remember, it's Hump Day tomorrow!
