Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!!! It is another warm day here in central Indy. They were predicting some rain to come through this afternoon but it all fell apart coming out of Illinois. We haven't had much rain since the middle of july and that has lead to alot of field fires happening around town and the state. I don't have a whole lot going on today. I did some shopping this morning and managed to pick up a few gifts for my mom. This afternoon I need do some cleaning that I never did yesterday. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe how close Christmas is! My birthday is September 25th (Tomorrow!!!), but, by the time it get here, all I can do is tell people that Christmas is exactly 13 weeks away. 13 weeks tomorrow. I CAN'T WAIT!! And it's on a Saturday too this year. There's something nice about it being on the weekend cheesy

Good evening all,

Home from work, winding down now. I am looking forward to my day off on Sunday right now. LC some how today broke the Frosty DVD and the DVD player when I was making his lunch, he come in and hands me the DVD and says its broken and it was cracked right down the side, go to put a DVD in for him and the DVD player won't work either I don't know if he was trying to put the DVD in to the player when it wasn't open or what but it is not working anymore. I now have to replace the Frosty DVD, but the good thing is we got a DVD player for Christmas a couple years back that is still in its box so I will bring that out tomorrow at some point to replace the broken one. If it's not one thing its another.
On a cheery note Edy's ice cream (Dreyers in other parts of the country) has its holiday flavors out Pumpkin Pie, Apple Pie, and Peppermint, and also Celestial tea has its Christmas Teas out: Candy Cane Lane, Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride, Sugar Plum

hi only 3 Month until "Heiligabend" Christmaseve and only 2 Month until the first Christmasmarket will start.. I think I will bake my first Christstollen (Christmas Cake) on Sunday..

Wow..I would LOVE to see a German Christmas market. My grandfather whom I never met was from Germany. I am so excited about Christmas Eve !!!

Overcast outside with finally a strong prediction of rain starting on Sunday.
We hit a record high of 99 here yesterday.
Currently, it is 75 degrees and calm.

The countdown will really start for me in a week from now, but today is a milestone indeed!!

3 Months to Xmas Eve!!
13 Weeks to be exact!!

Next friday is Oct and the 12 week countdown starts though I'm not allowed to bring up the Xmas word around my family until we get to the 8 week stretch.

Then I can start laying out the calendar agenda for the family for the Xmas Season.

I even listened to a 30 sec snipit of an Xmas song this morning on Accuholidays to celebrate the milestone.

And it's friday to boot!!

Two more weeks to Turkey day in Canada and another long weekend.

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

I hope to have a quiet weekend coming up, because next week will be a busy one for my small business. Seems everyone in the area is planning their fundraisers and festivals at the same time, and they all want advertisement. Good for business, but when I get really busy like this, many times the kids are already in bed before I can get home. Well, a dude's gotta do what a dude's gotta do. It's really not as bad as all that, I'm just feeling a little complain-y this morning. One more cuppa joe and I'll be over it.

Hey Made, I thought of you yesterday. I went to Tuesday Morning and they had some really nice Santa's! I don't know if you have that store near you but you might go check them out if you do.

I went there with my dad and my uncle. My uncle saw me looking at all the Christmas stuff and said, "you really don't need anymore". Lol!

I think there is one on the far north side of Indy. I will have to find out for sure and check it out the next time i am up that way.


I went to dollar tree with mom last night and they had some really cute little santas that opened up like a little gift box. I picked up one of each and my mom said the same thing. So I put them back and will just get them the next time she isn't with me.:lol:

Good Evening MMC !

Checking in late today. Yesterday was a great, crazy and tiring day.
I went out in the truck with my girlfriend, soon to be my co-driver. We went to Meadville Pennsylvania to pick up a load. On the way back the truck broke down on I 79 about 1/2 to Erie. Fortunately we made it to a rest area that had a washroom.
We pulled in at 1pm in the afternoon. It was 1am before the tow truck arrived with a new tractor for us to use to get the trailer home. The one the broke down was towed back to the truck yard the next day.
We got home again at 8am this morning.
I am tired!
Now I got a good taste of the not fun side of trucking. But at least I had a friend to share it all with!

Impressive. I think we can do it! 400 posts is especially possible with QVC tomorrow. That will definitely amp everything up! I'm excited! Perhaps I will organize my Christmas music collection in honour of the day.
