I want to work out today...but somehow my lazy butt seems to be glued on the couch...lol
I don't have ONE leaf to rake. Everything is still green here!!! I am glad we are not in the 100+ temps anymore but the high gets up to around 80 degrees. The leaves start to turn some in November then fall.Good afternoon,
I just finished raking the leaves, I think I counted 3,426,338 leaves or it just felt that way, my arms feel like jelly from raking. I told myself no MMC until I was done, that way I had a little treat to look forward to. Also, don't dress a 2 y/o in an orange shirt, I lost site of him and I called for him, and he said right here daddy, he was in the leaf pile which he matched perfectly I couldn't see him. cheesy
Have a great Wednesday!
I am glad you are feeling better!evening everybody, feeling more positive today.
isn't it odd how everything seems that bit better once you've slept on it?
no time for sadness, far too much excitement going on, after all we are at the home stretch!!!cheesy
It's ok to take a day off for rest! It's good for the body. Just wait until tomorrow to work out. cheesyI want to work out today...but somehow my lazy butt seems to be glued on the couch...lol
you are not supposed to sign out!!! This place becomes attached to you and like Christmas, it will live forever in your heart.ok, how do we log out of the forum? i can't find it.
jeff, are you trying to keep me here forever and ever?!!! i don't mind, it's one of my favourite places in the world!
middling morning to you, my friends.
(middle of the week, that is.)
straight to the count:
Days to the season: 24
days to christmas day: 66
under half a week away now from the 3 weeks mark to christmas season 2010.
Just think of that. Three weeks!
(and it seems like such a short time ago it was 52, doesn't it?)
quite overcast today with a threat of rain and a predicted high of only 67.
We are at 60 right now.
My father and i had a great visit to the state fair yesterday.
The exhibits were dependably good as was the food. Had some great barbeque and biscuits at the same little booth we have frequented for the last 40 years.
That's one of the main things i like about the fair. A constant in a too-rapidly changing world.
Hey!
It's hump day. Shispering pines day. Carl day. Fired twinkies day. Sweet southern iced tea day..........experimental coffee day.
Be there or be square.
You have a wonderful wednesday, folks!
Good evening, We got one of my favorite Christmas time desserts in tonight, and of course I bought it, and had a big slab of it tonight. It is the Friendly's Jubilee Ice Cream Roll it tasted so good. Hey, I am doing my part of buying local, I grew up in the town of Wilbraham, the home of Friendly's. The season is so close I can taste it now. The night at work was okay, I have tomorrow off, and I WILL get those leaves done.
Have a good night!
Yesterday as I was going up the street I noticed the old man across the street was hanging his icicle lights. On October 19! My wife said the expression on my face was classic. I now have the green light to decorate for Christmas when I want to, as long as we don't turn the lights on until after our Halloween Party on the 30th. So today will be a lot of pulling out boxes and checking lights and maybe even putting up a few around the windows. Woo Hoo!!!

Of course we noticed! Glad you could stop in!Good evening, everyone!
Where have I been? Have you even noticed that I was gone? I can only stop in for a few short minutes. I miss everything dearly! Unfortunately, teaching plans and everything that revolves around them have taken over my life! It's been quite busy. But, when the lessons go as well as planned, they are very rewarding! I'm sure coach can back that up!
I waked into my bank this afternoon to be greeted by a brightly decorated Christmas tree!!
:sparkle:
I just stopped in my tracks to really get a good look and smiled.. It is there to promote giving to those less fortunate this Christmas.
Such a nice surprise!cheesy
