Where have I been? Have you even noticed that I was gone? I can only stop in for a few short minutes. I miss everything dearly! Unfortunately, teaching plans and everything that revolves around them have taken over my life! It's been quite busy. But, when the lessons go as well as planned, they are very rewarding! I'm sure coach can back that up!
of course we missed you! :) good to hear they are rewarding! Good luck!

I waked into my bank this afternoon to be greeted by a brightly decorated Christmas tree!!
what a great surprise!

One more midnight shift and then my life will return to normal!!!!!!!!!
That's great!

Had a real good day at work today! and our bathroom is finally entirely fixed! And it's really sunny and chilly today! Next, me and my boyfriend are going to a photo-shop to get a sample of our christmascard printed! :)
Also made some winter-wonder-cake yesterday! tasted really good! :D Hope every one is cheerful and has a good day today!

Good to see you Brent!

Good Morning everyone!

Anyone have big plans for today?

I have no clue what I am doing today. cheesy

Good Morning, Friends.

Downhill slope! (To the weekend, that is.)

Well then, let's coast into the count, shall we?
Days to the Season: 23
Days to Christmas Day: 65
Just look how close we are to 3 weeks to the Season!
And closing in on 2 months to Christmas Day, too.
Zounds!

It's as calm as the bottom of Binger's empty coffee decanter here this morning where we stand at 55 degrees.
We are heading for a high of 77 by this afternoon according to the weather folks. Then a cool day before the warmth returns for the weekend.
Had a little rain yesterday but now it's supposed to be dry for a while.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Everybody.
Hey! It's Weekend Eve again tomorrow!
(Gee. So soon. Seems like it was Weekend Eve this time just last week.)

Where have I been? Have you even noticed that I was gone?
You were missed, Brent! We know you have a busy schedule now, and we're proud of you for working so hard, but try to drop in more often! cheesy

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had a good afternoon yesterday. I worked on cleaning up my Dad's kiddie train cars for the fall festival this weekend. Then we had spaghetti and later watched "How to Train Your Dragon". If you haven't seen that, do it soon! It's a great movie!

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Will you at least be able to test them at night?

Cherylle in CA

We brought them all inside and tested them. They all worked! Probably hung about 10 strings of lights around 7 different windows. It's good to have a big brother, because I didn't feel like falling off a ladder, it being so close to the holidays and all. I'm just happy to have the ball rolling and it's less that I'll have to do after the Halloween Party.

I have to admit, I did get a few looks for being out in the yard with a big box of Christmas lights in October. I LOVE IT! If the people on my street don't know me for anything else, hopefully they'll drive by and say, "oh thats crazy Christmas guy". I'll take it.

My youngest son(11) wants to see that movie, I'm glad it was good!

Nothing wrong with being the crazy Christmas guy!! We need more people like that!:wiggy:

It is a good movie! I took DD to see it twice in the theater & I don't like going to the movies.

DD's school sent home a note yesterday that students & staff can wear their Halloween costume to school on 10/28 (school is out 10/29 for teacher training). They should bring either 50 cents or a can of food to be given to a needy family for the holidays.

NICE! I'm the crazy Christmas guy on the street too. November 1st my lights go up and on!

WOW!!! I go on vacation & look at the changes around here!! Will have to check it out further!! :)

I just discovered...if I put my tree up at the same time I did last year, that is FOUR WEEKS from TOMORROW!!!! I am so excited I can't hardly stand it!!! :D

Hope you are all having a great day!

I also just realized I need to get my Christmas countdown snowman out!!! I think he starts at 70 days! I'm LATE!!!! :o

Stopped by Walmart today to do some shopping, only to spot the employees were putting up Christmas items out in the Lawn and Garden section. I immediately dashed out there to check them out. They already had up a display of pre-lit Christmas trees for sale. I asked the employee on hand when they started putting this stuff out, and he said just this last weekend. They're still in the process of getting all the items out for sale. He sounded rather disgusted with it, but I found it hard to hide my excitement.

Wow...you are lucky. I was in my Walmart the other day and STILL nothing for Christmas yet. And I don't know why the Walmart people are so disgusted with Christmas stuff going out. Actually I have noticed employees from other stores complaining about the same thing. Oh well, they don't damper my holiday spirit. They are lucky that I don't break out singing a verse of "Oh Christmas Tree"!! cheesy

Nope...no big plans for me either. But I hope when I get home from work I can find something Christmassy to do!cheesy

I know how it feels to be the "Crazy person" for putting your lights up in October before Halloween. Come November and December when the temps drop low, your neighbors won't think you are so crazy anymore. They will be out there freezing while trying to decorate. Then they will realize your idea wasn't so CRAZY after all.

NICE! I'm the crazy Christmas guy on the street too. November 1st my lights go up and on!

Now that's the spirit. Put them up and TURN THEM ON!!!! Love it!!! cheesy

Good Afternoon Christmas Pals,

The season is getting closer and closer. Today I walked out my front door and I could feel a holiday breeze in the air. It's almost here and I can feel it. In just 3 more weeks, I will be putting up my Christmas tree. I have sorted thru ornaments and had to sadly part with some that could no longer be glued, taped or stitched together. I am ready as I ever could be. Still working on some home improvement projects but I don't care if they get done or not before the holiday. As long as I have a place to call home and enjoy friends and family I am blessed. It's almost here. The excitement builds more and more each day. Everyone have a GREAT day and try to do something Christmassy if you can.

How exciting - 3 weeks! We, too, have projects and as much as I'd like them done - you are right. .. we have family, a home, our health - so blessed!

 Okay, that just cracked me up. I bet if you were to start singing in front of the employees, they'd quit their jobs. cheesy

Yes, we missed you! I know you probably don't want to hear this, but I worked myself crazy during our October break and completed lesson plans through January 2011. I want to feel relaxed for the rest of the year so I could enjoy the holidays without having to spend so much time at school. I feel so relieved to have it all done!
