And I am the crazy teacher at school because I listen to Christmas music at school and once kept my Christmas tree (artificial) until March!!!

...I have to admit, I did get a few looks for being out in the yard with a big box of Christmas lights in October. I LOVE IT! If the people on my street don't know me for anything else, hopefully they'll drive by and say, "oh thats crazy Christmas guy". I'll take it.

I had to babysit today all day and I have to watch them again tomorrow afternoon and evening for awhile.

Stopped by Walmart today to do some shopping, only to spot the employees were putting up Christmas items out in the Lawn and Garden section.

I went to mine today and they haven't started putting anything out yet. I did see pallets of christmas trees though sitting in the storage room so it won't be long until they start.

Good Evening Everyone!!!!!!! It has been a long tiring day. My nieces were pretty good but they did have to go into timeout a few times. My sister also wanted me to replace a doorknob for her and the light switch for my nieces bedroom. I'm thinking about getting my brother in law a set of tools for christmas and a good how to book. I hope everyone had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stopped in the grocery store tonight and I was excited to see a Christmas tree up and on, Christmas displays being assembled and all kinds of Thanksgiving and Christmas goodies filling the shelves. Needless to say I was smiling while shopping!

I worked all day today, so I am finally on here tonight. Just finished watching my Bruins beat the Capitals, I love watching hockey it was a great game tonight. Nothing much going on here tonight, back to work tomorrow afternoon.

Tomorrow is going to be a great day. I mean, afterall, it is Friday! Going to go to the ballgame Friday, watching football Saturday, making my famous Chicken Cheese Soup, AND watching a scary movie. Fun, fun, fun.

I like all the crazy people around here and the total acceptance of October Christmas decorating. I say we all just own it. We are the Crazy Holiday people! I say we just turn it around on everyone else for not being holiday crazy.

Went to this new place called Ollies that had a big Christmas decoration sale. Didn't get alot. Just new stakes for the ground so we don't become the people who set there house on fire from too many drop cords. Saw the biggest inflatable Santa Clause I've ever seen though. Think it said 25 feet tall. Then went to Hobby Lobby, I love that place. I could spend so much money in there.

germany is griefing right now...the wife of former West-Germany leader Helmut Schmidt has died at 91 years old.....she was like the mother of the nation....so all the news are full with it...

9 Weeks to Xmas Eve already!!

Next week, we hit under the 2 months to go window!
Almost Nov already. It seems like just yesterday, it was labour day weekend and by next week, we will hit half way between Labour day and Xmas, WoW!!
Time has just flown by for me and things will only get busier.

Xmas items were out on the shelves at my local drug store last night so things will really start to look more and more like Xmas in the coming weeks.

Great times ahead!!

it snowed last night!


this was taken at about 11pm as I was coming back into town in the truck with Donna. (taken from inside the truck, I did not have a winter coat with me so did not go out in it)
The snow was coming down really thick and heavy, looked great!!!

I do not recall having snow this early before, but will look it up later to make sure.

Snow?!?!? Holy cow!!!!! That is sooo exciting!!! I need to get my oldest a winter coat pronto - I am hoping it snows here early! (Although I'm not holding my breath - back to the mid 70s next week - blech!)

We stand at the cusp of a scant three weeks to the begininig of our grand and glorious Christmas Season 2010:
Days to the Season: 22
Days to Christmas Day: 64
Yes Folks, that auspicious day will be here 3 weeks from tomorrow.
And the 5 special pre-Season posts begin November 8 which is only 2 weeks and 3 days away.
(Feeling that Christmas Spirit yet??)

Chillier this morning where we are only up to 47 so far, bound for the upper 60's by this afternoon.
Warmer weather is supposed to return for the weekend and we will again be back into the 70's.
And that's nice since Saturday is the day my sister and I take my nieces to the State Fair.
