What a lovely day! Cold, sunny, stew meat cooked all night, and you shoulda smelled it this morning when I woke up! To top it all off, special posts tomorrow....it's almost too much for a person to stand.

Wow! Downright cold when I got up this morning with my thermometer shivering at 34 degrees.
It's sunny now but we are still only up to 37 as I type this.

Ok I am missing something I guess. I have no idea about Christmas BLossums and what is this about SPECIAL posts?
Jeff the hubby and I both want to tell you that you have a really special family and this site means so much to us. It has done so much for us the past few years. We really didn't have the oomph last year because of loosing his dad and then this year with his mom's cancer scare, but through it all this one site (this one) has made a world of difference. I want to say thanks to EVERYONE and while I am sure that Jeff hears it regularly, this site does mean quite a bit to people and I dunno what we would do without it. ALthough not the first Christmas based site we have been on, it is the first that has meant anything to us.
As I am typing this, my Chritmas goodies are currently staged for set-up and the everyday things are going down in the boxes. We are so ready and now I must log off for the time being so I can go do what I have to do to make it all cheery and festive in here.
Happy 47 days til the most wonderful day of the year.

P.S. It was hovering right above freezing when I woke up this morning. Thank goodness for hot breakfast and great coffee. It is now hovering right at 41 degrees F. SHould be in the 50's today, gunna be another cold one tonight and I am LOVING it.

Hi everybody! Happy chilly Sunday!

I am so bummed.. our cable box started acting a bit nutty so we got a new one yesterday.. and I lost all of my DVR events, including all of my Christmas movies, specials, etc! Thankfully, things will start playing again somewhat soon but Jude will be so sad when he can't watch Rudolph whenever he wants!

Off to make some cookies! Santa came to our mall on Friday so we might visit him today!

Good morning,

I didn't make it here yesterday, just to exhausted, the turkeys are starting to fly at work, put out 71 cases or over 2800lbs of turkeys out yesterday so my body is tired and sore today. My plan for today is to get the outside winter ready by doing the final mulching of the lawn and all the outdoor furniture put away, that way I can start doing the outdoor decor at some point this week. Also finish putting up the lights and garland inside the house. Most importantly watching Toy Story 3 with the boys and wife. I have a busy day ahead of me, so I wish all of you a Happy Sunday!

Good morning, everyone!

With the time change, it's almost afternoon! Time change? Well, that means we're just getting closer to the Christmas Season! I had an Imagination and Creativity in Education conference/workshop yesterday. It was very productive! Three out of the four workshops were interesting and interactive!

The forecast was calling for snow all day today, but it is now supposed to be warmer than first predicted. We had some extremely light fluttering snow yesterday evening, but nothing major. As of right now, it looks like we will not get any more snow until next weekend. I can deal with that! Just in time for the Christmas Season!!

I'm excited for the Special Posts to begin tomorrow! We truly are closing in... It will be great to read the sentimental posts of those who are gracious enough to usher us into the Season. I can't wait until I can turn on the Christmas music and think about what Christmas movie I am going to watch next!

We went out for Wayne's birthday yesterday. Had a good lunch at Benihana and then headed to Dave and Busters for games.
