Evening all. My post didnt go through earlier on today because the message board was up and down! Had a good weekend. Mom came down and we went to the London Santa Claus parade. Was great, those of you on my facebook I have pictures up! Only down side was that it was late, hour and a half late getting to our point! I thought the kids were going to riot! lol Well back to work I go. Have a merry monday all!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I will spend most of the evening finishing report cards. All the assessments are scored except for math. Then I have to average the grades and transfer them to the report cards. My husband just called on his way home from work. He said that the oldies station he listens to is now Christmas 102.1 until after Christmas. So he changed to another station, but at least thought to let me know. Whoo Hoo!!

Good afternoon Christmas family !

Today is going a lot better than yesterday did ! I was able to work my regular hours with no problems from the employer's server and get my lines. I personally feel that since I was on for my 5 hours yesterday that my company needs to compensate me. After all, support did not call me until 4 hours after my shift ended to fix the problem. Oh well. One Magic Christmas is on Hallmark right now !! I really liked this movie when it came out 25 years ago. Where does the time go ??!!

Cats are so funny! I keep my hands very clean and if I go pet my cats they immediately wash themselves. I'm slighthly offended! I did just wash my hands! cheesy

Tonight he's in a "pay attention to me nnnnnnowwwwwwwwwwwww" mood. I want to, but when he asks for a rub, you think he might sit a tad closer so I can actually reach him. He's nuts! He wants me to dislocate my shoulder just to give him a rub. I don't think so.

Two of the world's largest woodpeckers were at the feeder today. I missed it, I was at work. My husband and O'Malley told me all about it when I got home. We saw them a few times. I'm guessing with all the construction and new homes being built that their former homes have been cut down and there are oodles of pines and cedar trees along the creek so they can get plenty of food there. They were lovely. Hopefully, they aren't camera shy.

The across the creek neighbours have their indoor tree up, no sign of the blowmold snowman and outdoor decs yet. Spotted it last night and got all excited.

Traffic has really picked up! That means its going to be a great holiday season.
Good news....."THE MOVE" is coming sooner than we thought. We might get to start Wednesday night.

I went out to my car for my dinner break tonight, the Bruins game was in intermission, I switched stations and there was my station, it did the switch to all Christmas music at some point today, I must have looked like a big grinning moron listening to Little Drummer Boy pretty loudly. Day off tomorrow, may get some more decorating done, may not, haven't decided yet.

Yey I can get on the site this morning!! so missed visiting yesterday before work!

The days are going by so quickly! Going shopping again tomorrow, want some new decorations for my tree, and want to try pick up afew more gifts!

I'm sorry about that. If it's any consolation, I have to work half a day on Christmas Eve. Our company gives us 2 days off for Christmas and 2 days for New Years, so we're taking the following Monday & Tuesday, then Thursday & Friday. We'll close on that Wednesday, to give us a whole week off.

Actually, that was some consolation, i also found out my boyfriend needs to work all day, so we'll be driving home for Christmas together.. he thought it was so funny how angry I was, while it's just a normal workday... Thank you!
(every one who asked, it's from 11 am and it lasts 2 or 3 hours, that's quite alright, it would be way worse if it would have started at 5pm. Hopefully I can control my nerves...) thank you every one!

Good morning!! I want to thank everyone for their special posts last week. They were all great!!!! Sorry I could be here Friday night .... looks like I missed all the fun!

Well my daughter's cheerleading squad came in 2nd place in the competition Saturday. All the girls received a medal! They did really great!

Sadly, I have to go to a funeral this morning for a friend of mine. She and I graduated HS together, and she married one of my best friends. She's fought her cancer for almost 2 years, but she passed away Friday morning. Her fight was an inspiration to us all, and she is finally resting with the Lord.

But I don't want to be a "Danny Downer"; She wouldn't want that, either. Her life was dedicated to her husband and two sons, and she did a great job raising all three of them!

i'm so sorry for you and all of you who have to miss her.. hope it was a beautiful service....

We've been playing Christmas music since Nov 1. Haven't watched any Christmas movies/shows/specials yet. That happens on the day after Thanksgiving, when we put up the tree during the day, and get comfy with a glass of wine or mug of hot chocolate (choose your poison) at night, and watch "The Muppet's Christmas Carol" to really kick-off the Christmas season. We've been doing it for years now, and all of us can practically recite every line in the movie!

Have I ever mentioned before that I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR?!?!
Just got back from taking a walk with the dog while listening to the "99 Essential christmas Masterpieces" I downloaded from Amazon over the weekend. It was starting to get dark & I couldn't help but think about how it won't be long & the houses will all be lit up with Christmas lights!

i can't wait either! this time of year makes me feel so glad as well

Today i'm going to havea busy day, right now i am busy with my graduation thesis, and after that a couple of classes and this evening i am making a pesto-taglitelle
also in class i'm going to get my class mates to riot the exam-date, i can't imagine that they want it either... hopefully i can get it to be changed!
