Hi all!!!! Congratz to those that got snow that wanted it.
I have to work today so I am going to make this short.
Hubby passed his PAT for work and he is good on his job until next year, unless he decides he is not going to retire.
Kind of cool here this morning but nothing to shiver over.

so much for snow, it is raining here right now. This is such weird weather for this time of the year. This means we are due for a big snow storm soon! :snowball:

Wow! You WERE lucky! I fell getting into the car and broke a rib. It has finally healed after eight weeks. Take care.

I had a very good weekend with the family, but it was back to work today. I finished up the outdoor lights yesterday, but while I was hanging the lights on the roof line I lost my balance on the ladder and fell 6 feet to the blacktop, I was quite lucky I was not injured just a small cut on my finger and a small bruise on my ankle. We also put our second tree up last night and it is beautiful especially with the new bubble lights on it, I will post pictures of everything soon. 3.5 weeks until vacation I cannot wait because it will also mean Christmas eve is here.

******* CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY #18 *******

Good Morning, Almost December Friends.

Yes, it's hard to believe but we stand on the doorstep of another month - the month of CHRISTMAS!

Days to Christmas Day: 25 (Barely over 3 1/2 weeks away, now!)

The clouds (and rain chances) moved in last night keeping our temperatures up. We currently stand at 52 with a strong chance of precipitation both today and tomorrow.
Speaking of weather, this is the last day of the 2010 hurricane season.
LOTS of storms but the US was spared all but the most minor of effects.
(The National Hurricane Center calls this year a "gentle giant" as far as tropical storms are concerned. Fitting, I suppose.)

I have 16 Christmas movies/programs in my collection that I watch every year and I've already seen 6 of them. And it's not even December, yet!

Y'all have a Terrific Tuesday, Y'hear?
 
Good morning, my CHRISTMAS friends!

Just working, working, working! Trying to get some free time for the holidays! I hung my Star Trek ornaments on the tree last night. I love my Star Trek communicator!

Amen to all of these! Weather forecast says we might get some mountain snow overnight. Half of our county is in the Cherokee National Forest mountains, so we usually close school for a chance of a flurry of snow! I really hope they don't.

Last night DD brought home two Christmas projects for the family to complete together. I bought a bunch of craft supplies this morning so we can work on the decorating the paper stocking & Christmas tree tonight. DD is to have Christmas pictures made at school on Thursday too.
 
Maybe we'll have snow soon. Last year we had a good snow in December!
 
Hope everyone has a great day. It took a while for the windshield to defrost yesterday. Also, it was so cold in my classroom, and the heat wasn't fixed until lunchtime! The kids and I wore our coats and gloves until then! It is supposed to get up to the low 50s today. I keep praying for snow, but I'm not going to count on it!

We had some wintery precipitation this morning....sleet!!! However, it didn't stick to the ground because it has been to warm. Anyways...gotta run, just wanted to stop by and say hello.
 
My 5 year old grandson just asked how Santa makes all those toys. I told him his elves make them. He asked, "who are they"? I told him the little guys that live there. He said, "no, those are not elves those are his nephews that live with him". Wonder why he thought that?! =)

Hey Everyone, I know Im late but I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. I have been very busy and between and kids and I being sick I havent had a chance to get on. I hope to catch up with you all soon. Cant believe tomorrow is December 1st!
