Caninemom, I am so happy you had a great time with your sister!
I got into scrapbooking for the first time last year. It was a lot of fun but A LOT of work. It was a gift for my daughter when she graduated college. I did a book of her from birth up until a young adult. I went through boxes and boxes of photos and that took a lot of time.Just got back from shopping. I found several deals on scrapbooking stuff which I plan to use for Christmas gifts. I guess I better get myself in gear and get to work. I hope everyone has a great evening.

I am going through Christmas movies today, not actually watching, but listening sort of while studying. Anyway, I did get to watch the last part of "It's a Wonderful Life", which I watch every Christmas, and I am crying like a baby a the end. Go figure, must be stress or being over tired from all the school stuff.
Now, back to the books!!
CanineMom,
Did you read the message I sent about creativity and grief?

Oh my gosh, I am really, really slacking AND lacking in paying attention !! Cherylle, yes, thank you !!! I plan on trying scrapbooking here soon. I think it is an excellent idea. Maybe I could use it as an outlet to help with missing all those dear ones including Punkin' whom I have lost !! It was very sweet and kind of you to let me know about it !! I may need some tips along the way !! Thank you so very much !!! xo
Had a lovely weekend! Saint Nicholas stopped by and I had all my brothers and their partners, and my parents and my boyfriend, it was great!
Sorry about the Colts, Made. We had the game on at work but I could not watch the whole game. I came home just in time for overtime! What a game!
Now I am sitting here with Wayne watching his Ravens play. cheesy

enjoy yourself! All our snow melted today! but i did read that Holland was colder than Canada the past few daysYeah!!!!!!
I got a snow day!!!
No school for me today!!
Thank you! Very kind of you to remember that! Actually in Holland, we celebrate 'pakjesavond' (='Saint Nicholas-eve') on the evening before his birthday, because it is told that he would hand out gifts on the evening before his birthday, and then go home on his birthday and enjoy the great memories of an other year of having made hundreds of children happy! So that's why we celebrated yesterday evening!Happy St. Nicholas Day to all those who celebrate it!
I think I will do something special to celebrate it with my grandkids. I plan to tell them the story of the real St. Nicholas because my 5 year old grandson said he never heard the story.
