ugh just got a message from a 'friend' who would come by today who i wanted to warn that i might have to ask her to leave early (she's the kind of person who overstays her welcome), because i have to talk about financial bussiness with my father in law because we have to decide as soon as possible... and her message was downright annoyed... I'm making her dinner, it's my house, and this is important to me.. she does not seem to understand... even though i helped her move this summer, and took her to london when things were really bad with her partner... i don't get it...

i jus heard on the news that SW Ontario (London and area) has had more snow in the last 3 days than all of last winter!~ Would you like some?

No Thanks!!!! We are going to get it here this weekend. Right now they are calling for 6-10 inches on sunday.:-?

good morning christmas friends. i hope everyone is doing good.....all the snow is gone...it is a little warmer today.....around 33 degrees....and it was raining....but more snow is forecasted for this week....and we got a fifty fifty chance for a white christmas....usually the chance for it is lower than 20

Up early checking out weather and road conditions. For the third day in a row I will be having a snow day from school. If I was a kid this would be great! But now, well, I have some serious learning to do and want to get busy with it, so not liking this anymore.
Mayor of London encourages business to give employees the day off and all schools are closed again. London has had more snow in the past three days than all of last winter the news is reporting. Even city transit is not running!!

Those are the best days!!!!! I love cuddling on the couch, watching snow coverage, and drinking something hot... maybe some soup or chili for dinner? Mmm.. .and some cookies!! I will live vicariously through you...

Hi everyone!!!!

I've been watching Martha's Christmas episodes of her old show on Hallmark lately and it puts me in SUCH a good mood. I LOVE Martha sooo much and she makes me feel so festive!! I watched her "Open House" the other night and she made the largest vat of eggnog I have ever seen - among other things, it had ONE AND A HALF BOTTLES OF LIQUOR (that was just one kind!!!) lol!

Looking for some gingerbread recipes to make a gingerbread house with Jude - any recipes anyone?

Stay warm! Making caramelized French onion soup for dinner tonight... mmmmmmmmmmm...

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is another cold day here in central Indy where we currently stand at 7 degrees. It looks like we may get a break from the freezing temps on saturday but they will return on sunday along with the snow and stick around all next week. Today I need to run to the grocery store and then it will be home to get some cleaning done. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning on December 8. It was pouring rain when I got up at 5:00 a.m. We should get to a high of 45, so no snow for us, except for the liquid kind! Hope everyone has a great day, no matter the weather.

I was down yesterday with what the doctor says is a sinus & upper respiratory infection. Sounds yucky! I'm on some meds, and I'm feeling a little better.

We're still waiting on the power company to power-up our new pole-mounted Christmas decorations. They probably don't want to get out in the cold. It was 24° when I stepped outside this morning!

Happy Wednesday morning everyone. Cold here. In the teens and I am toasty as a bug in a rug right now. We are going to be doing our shopping on December 18th- OMG!!!! I am gunna be lucky to make it out alive but I am thinking about giftcards and nothing but this year lol. In and out as fast as possible. NOT doing this next year, I am gunna start my shopping in January and buy one or two gifties each month that way I am covered.

Good Morning, All!

And so we move into the 2nd half of Christmas Season 2010.
Days to Christmas Day: 17 (UNDER 2 1/2 weeks away, Friends!)

The cold weather has quite a grip on us. It was 22 when I got up hours ago and has only "warmed" to 24 as I type this.
Thank goodness there is no wind blowing at the moment although it was breezy yesterday, bringing that wind chill factor into play.
It's supposed to be warmer this weekend.

Where have all the Christmas photos gone? Can we get some more Blossoms thread activity before it's too late?
I've got a few more post pending but could use a little help to keep things moving on a jolly footing! Any help would be appreciated.

Anyway, you have a Wonderful Wednesday, whether or not you plan a visit to the 'Pines today.
(I hear there is going to be free eggnog. Question, though - is it straight or one of Carl's infamous blends? Only the adventurous will know for sure!)

Glad you are feeling better. This is an especially bad time of the year to be sick.

It is chilly here too; 9 this morning when I left for work. We are supposed to get more snow Sunday thru Tuesday. W white Christmas would be real nice.

Good snowy (where I am) wednesday (oops almost said monday!) morning. The snow has stopped for now. To put it to you this way the snow drifts and piles on my front lawn are as tall as I am and I am 5 foot 6! Ill have to post pictures tonight if I'm online. We are keeping safe. The buses are not running today in London. Because of that my Wife is staying home from work. She takes the bus home but if it isn't running there is no point of her going in. We had a good day off yesterday. Ash (my wife) went into work by bus and came home early since they stopped running at 3pm. We don't have anymore room to pile snow anywhere! I love it!!! Others grumble. I say why are you living in the snow belt if you hate snow? Looks like we will have a white Christmas! Speaking of Christmas its almost here! We watched A Charlie Brown Christmas yesterday for the 4th time that DAY. William LOVES Charlie Brown. He loves it when Snoopy comes on too. Well back to work I go. I made it to work today!
