Good Morning, Super Sunday Seasonal Citizens!

Hey!!
We've moved UNDER a week away from Christmas!
(And if that isn't the "Home Stretch" I don't know what is.)
Days to Christmas Day: 6 (Wow! Really closing in, now!)

More frozen precipitation here yesterday, but again it was thin and about all gone this morning where we currently stand at 35 degrees under off-and-on sunny/cloudy skies.
The weather service does say it is POSSIBLE we could get snow on Christmas. That would be the first time for us in the 43 Christmasses we have lived here!

Well, enjoy the rest of your last weekend before Christmas, remembering to have a Super Sunday while you're at it!

We had a wonderful family Christmas party last night, 30 people made it out. Good food, fun games, great company, lots of fun!!!
We had pot luck with more food than 60 people could eat. This years event was in a hotel so we also had use of the pool much to the delight of the kids, both big and little.

Good morning,

I am battling a cold and nasty sinus pain, I have been awake since a little before 6AM just couldn't sleep. We have to do our Christmas eve cleaning today we are hosting 20 something people, want to get it done early so all we have to do is cook on Christmas eve.

Good morning, everyone!

Less than one week away from our favourite day of the year! I know that I am still very excited! The Christmas Season has been fantastic. Although it has been a lot busier than usual and I have not been able to keep up with many of my favourite activities, I've still enjoyed myself. My sincere apologies for being unable to keep up with MMC as I finished the second portion of my teaching placement. I would not have been able to do any work if that were the case. However, I am back here now and could not be happier!

On top of being back here, I have also returned to my home in Sault Ste. Marie. The 12 hour bus ride took about 14 hours, but I made it!! Of course, it's great to be home and with family once again. As a 25-year-old, I realize that my Christmases at home may be numbered. I've been going out with my girlfriend (Kim) for about four and a half years now. Although we both don't want to get married any time soon, it seems as if I may only have three or four Christmases left in Sault Ste. Marie.

Still, the snow has fallen over Sault Ste. Marie and provides a beautiful 8-10 inch blanket of eye candy. Since I have been away for so long, I will make sure to take some pictures and share my experience. Expect some photos as of tonight or tomorrow! Right now, I am just going to reload my Christmas music playlist. Because I've been busy, the music is the only thing I have had to keep me sane and focused on returning here!

Hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas Season thus far. I cannot wait to share in the joys of the next six days as we count down the rest! Merry Christmas Season!! And, of course, I do believe saying Merry Christmas is certainly allowed within this final week. Merry Christmas to all!!

They moved the date of the first one from thuesday till tomorrow i'm all stressed out! blegh, need to get myself together!!

We're walking out the door to have lunch at my mom's house. It's out in the country, and Jacob & I can get a .22 rifle or a shotgun and have a good time in the woods. The food's pretty good, too!

Now now Seawaters...... we NEED effective teachers. I am just a sub and I have subbed in some classes where the teacher lets the kids do whatever, whenever. Whn I go in it is like a shock that I tell them we are NOT doing things that way. I can not stand a classroom full of rowdy out of control kiddos. It is either do as you are told or it is a call home or to the parents' work then a trip to the office. I do not like being like that but there has to be some kind of control.

Just got back from church and the Cantata was BEAUTIFUL!!!! THey did a great job. Our organist is leaving us and it was a bittersweet Goodbye. She recently got married and her and her hubby are moving away from our area. She will be missed.

I am planning on baking cookies today or this evening and I am going to get started on cutting up some pork for our New Years Day dinner. Yes I know it is early but I picked up a rather large roast and I am halving it for pork chops and the NYD dinner. It is still a bit nippy here and the breeze isn't making it any better. We didn't get any ice but who is to say that will not change in a few days.

But as I get up this morning I'm starting to feel a little guilty for the pressure I'm putting on Crown and Binger...and Auntie, too.

It would be nice to hear you but at the same time if you feel more comfortable not participating, I understand. I unleashed this campaign to push you into this and you shouldn't be pushed. I'm sorry about that now. It's just that we're grateful for you and all you do here in bringing good cheer to this thread all year long.
